Nicest compliment you've received lately

^^I would have read it as an insult.

A very hot boy asked me out today and he said to me

'I saw you come into the library and just went *wow*'

I'm in PR, right. And my job is to get PR. So today in our management meeting I bring up the fact that I've gained national exposure for 3 of our brands in Home Beautiful magazine, Burke's backyard magazine, Weight Watchers mag, the Herald Sun and Take 5 (no small achievement, let me assure you). And my compliment? "Yes, good."

Fuck corporate life. They only notice when you've done something WRONG, then it's a massive deal, isn't it 8)

Oh hang on, I do have a relevant remark: I told work I was quitting to go backpacking around the world, and that I wouldn't be back because we were going to settle in London for a year or two at the end.

They came back and said, the London office would really like to take you on as a consultant when you get there.

I felt good :)
 
In the words of preacha: yarni is not anywhere near or remotely related to the word perfect except for the fact that they are both spelt using the english alphabet

It probably doesn't look like a compliment but it's the nicest thing he's ever said to me. seriously.

I've dyed the front of my fringe a stripe of deep purple and the sides are purple and there is also blue and pink shades right through it with the back of it ice white

I think it looks pretty sick if i do say so myself actually =D

I was at this night club and a girl comes up to me and asks me if i'm Russian. I took it as a compliment considering she herself was and cos i think there's something distinct and hot about Russian chicks ;)

Also, when ever i go to the hairdresser, which is rarely, something about sitting infront of a mirror for hours... but anyway, the hairdresser always comments on how thick my hair is... mind you its often whilst she's brushing out all the knots :p
 
Strawberry Love Muffin: That IS a big deal, especially achieving THAT level of coverage within consumer publications that all share target markets AND within a within a relatively short timeframe. Sometimes I really think the only time mangement appreciate positive PR is when you inflate their ego by organising back to back interviews with the relevent journos (whilst compleatly disregarding the PR stategy :/)

At a best mates wedding yesterday, a very hot friend told me I had to leave the reception then and there - as my breasts were a serious impeedment to his self-imposed, month long celibacy vow. =D
 
wooh, for once i got a couple. two of my tutors (after giving me shit first, of course) told me i had brains, and another spent the entire night (at our film screenings) telling me to stop being so lazy 'cause i actually had talent. and she thinks i should go to the vca :D

so, i'm happy :)
