Don't really understand the logic behind that one but I think he had good intentions.

My mum had this to say a few weeks ago:

"I'm so glad that i have a cool kid - someone with whom i can sit an discuss anything in a mature manner..."

(this after not seeing her for 5 years)
 
one of my really good friends from highschool told me last night how glad he is that i'm back in town and how great it is to be able to hang out with me again. he also said that of all the people from highschool who he wished would move back, i was top of the list. aww, he made me feel all warm and fuzzy, now i'm a happy little smurf =D
 
I suppose I've gotten it more than once, but when someone tells me that I mean something to them or that they think of me as someone particularly special to them, it really means a lot to me.

Knowing that someone else really cares has always felt like the best possible compliment ever to me.
 
I got told recently by my sister that i have a really good heart....that i always know the right stuff to say and am genuine with my feelings....was pretty flabergasted....slightly embarresed but made me happy :)
 
at the moment after cuttin my long hair off, every person has said "your hair looks good" i lost count at about 150 on one day. my opinion... i wish i had my lond hair still :(
 
as a pick up line this hot young boy says to me... "if you were a guy, and i was gay, i'd wanna pump that cute little arse of yours all night!"

i let him buy me a couple of drinks.
 
"No offence, but when I met you I had to wonder what kind of drugs you were on. But I mean it in a good way!"

Then, a few months back, I was walking thru the Uni grounds and I saw three rather hot chicks walking towards me across the courtyard. They were looking at me and obviously they thought that I couldn't hear what they were saying.
But it wasn't that noisy in the courtyard that day. Their conversation went something like this-

Hot chick 1- (nudges Hot Chick 2) "Hey check him out."
Hot chick 2- "Mmmmm, cute" (smiles and turns to Hot Chick 3)
Hot chick3- "Pfft! He's a glorified Muppet!"

Now, I don't know WTF she meant by "glorified Muppet" and I'm not gonna ponder it too much. But 2 out of 3 hot chicks is a compliment by my standards. :)

boy at uni bar: Chicks like you make coming to the bar worthwhile. Can I scab a cigarette?

Boys only approach me when they need a nicotine fix.

along the lines of: "as if you don't deserve good friends moe"
 
I received some pretty nice confidence boosting yesterday from a chick at a recruitment company.

I had a job interview on Monday and while she called to tell me i didn't get the job, she told me that the two people who interviewed me had said to her that i had great energy and that she should save a top position for me in another company as i deserve it. Apparantly they were impressed with me.

That's gotta make anyone feel good! :)
