well i have stayed in USA and canada for over a year and i have relatives that live in both and i can say that the average australian (low-middle class have higher compareable salaries than the USA and Canada. when i was in a west hollywood nightclub the chick working was on $5 something an hour (california was high min wages in US) my ex in chicago was on $3 an hour, same job i was doing in sydney $20 an hour. to get $20 an hour in usa and canada u need tertuary education. England has high wages like us but their cost of living is also alot higher than ours. we earn more than those in north america but food, cars and everything on average is also alot more expensive here too.

we see $40-$60 a gram as super cheap, but to the average american and canadian it can be afew hours wage just like our prices. but i still think we pay too much dont get me wrong...

You cant really compare GDP's cos its an average across whole pop and a large majority of australians are middle class with small percentage of low earners still earning a decent wage and also a small % of high income earners that dont get ridicoulous wages (to USA standards).
in CA and USA theres a larger low, not many middle and a high (same as low) income earners who some earn wages that resemble of some countries.

The US is a pretty big country with very tight customs and yet the columbian drug cartels (coke for example) manage to import it there and it costs not even quarter of what it does here. The profit here in AU is way bigger than any other country so i dont understand the whole concept of ur idea. The US have just as good Customs as we do here in AU.

There are a few labs but most arnt mass productive. Atleast i contribute to the forum with useful information. Ur post count is low and you are getting a bad reputation.

Nout sure if I agree with you. Yes the US would have good customs, but they also have easier borders to get across.

I imagine alot of the coke that gets into the states is hidden in the 10,000 plus cars and trucks that cross from mexico to the US everyday. Only a fraction of these could ever be searched.

Further, they have a massive fence line between the US and mexico. Whats to stop people throwing stuff over the border, or digging tunnels. Hell people cross that border illegal all the time, getting drugs across in comparrison would be easy.

Look at our boarder i mean its just massive all the way around. Not saying it gets in easy but not harder to import than say US. U got a point with the cars and all but im pretty sure that there technology is good if not better than urs.

Living in EU i have seen these big massive xray machine trucks that scan every single car at the boarder. They have busted so many illegal imigrants and drugs its not funny especially in Holland and Belgium. If i have time i will try to find u specific info on it.

The australian border although virtually unprotected has one thing that the USAs doesnt, hundreds to thousands of coastline around whole country. so no1 can just walk across, even flying across is difficult for alot of aircraft. only large ocean vessals can easily make the trip. then theres the problem that the only country close to us that is capable of supplying large amounts of cheap drugs to aust is indonesia but it prob will never be able to with their current strong anti drug laws, large jail sentences. & all this whist the US has MEXICO! (FULL STOP LOL)

the US border is well protected with high walls, armed police, sniffer dogs etc etc. seen it and had to pass through it when i was in Tijuana and Ciudad Juarez. someone mentioned above that it would be easy with all the cars crossing through to get drugs in, not true. cos ppl smuggling is also a problem for USA Every car gets checked with dogs etc while all the id checks are going on. the border police know ever trick and hiding spot ppl use and what vehicles are used more. plus with sniffer dogs you have to be very lucky, not worth the risk when just outside most of the main border cities (specially in AZ) there is no fence and no border police. in those areas they rely on ppl in the towns to report if they see illigals. this is where the drug mules cross from mexico to USA with very little chance of getting caught. LoL they carry the drugs in sacks something like 50kgs each mule.
