MDMA won't turn you gay, but it will definately lower your inhibitions, meaning if deep down inside you're a little bit gay to begin with, you might let it out when you normally wouldn't.

You know that threads will progress without you posting in them?

From what i've seen, they usually fair better without your dribble.

now that's the pot calling the kettle black

To be honest I can see why he would have touched her just to keep him happy. Place yourself in his shoes. He's sitting there and his mate just looses the plot and belts a girl with a brick and from what I gather he then drowns her in a bath. He's probably got blood all over him and hes clearly not all there. I really really wouldn't want that guy to turn on me, he's already shown what he is capable of. Had he been thinking clearly and had the balls he might have made an effort to stop the attack or kill the attacker however he might have been under so much stress and so terrorfied that he was unable to act.

I got caught up in the makings of a serious oil fire that had been made worse when it was hit with a water fire extinguisher and there were people trapped behind it. In the seriousness of it all at that time I had the only powder extinguisher and in all the panic and screaming I couldn't figure out how to make it work. In any normal time of the day I could have popped the pin and had a go in under a second but when shit really hits the fan I was probably fucking around with it for about 10seconds before finally I could use it and even then it was only by chance I grabbed the right extinguisher. Stress really really really messes with the way you think.

From this article I get the impression he might not even be blaming the drugs. I'm thinking in his statement he may have told the truth and said he had 50cones that day. It doesn't seem like he ever said "I only touched her because I was stoned" or anything like that he just happened to be stoned when this happened.

The media saw that a large amount of weed had been smoked and pounced. We all know how people love to blame drugs and we end up with a head line "Accused 'smoked 50 cones on murder night". He didn't even do the killing and I think already it shows a bias anti-drug news hype.

I'm more intrested in how he acted the next day or when he was safely away from the killer, if he kept his silence of went straight to the police.

Whatever the truth of the matter I would pity the jury who had to listen to the terrible detail of it. The coroners report, the police report, look at the photos, the experts explain how they could tell the body was sexually abused after death, fucking hell.

poor girl.

in a broader context to drug use, i would say that in these sorts of cases where drug use is a factor (not the direct cause of the crime) that instead of increasing the penalties of drug use (in a bid to stop it) that these cases in fact support the need to restructure how we use drugs in this society.

like Kurt Cobain said I'm a negative creep and I'm stoned. (and then, sadly) Daddy's little girl ain't a girl no more".

the problem is that the drug scene is full of negative fucked up creeps that scare the living fuck out of me. I can't remember the quantity of seedy places that i've just happened into where the residents (all drug dealers, parents of friends, strange homeless people, the list go goes on), and always at about 2-3am at night was fucked up. the predators, you know those creepy deadbeats, flashy but have a vicious little psychological edge to them, always trailed by a deadbeat sidekick, the types that get fucked up and the girl their with even more so just so they can have their way.

anyway enough of that. Drugs are given bad name by these negative fucked up creeps who shouldnt be near them but are allowed easy access to them due to society, and the governments failure to regulate the access and use of these substances. Look at the kings cross injection centre. No way you can get fucked up in a some dingy dirty fucked up space, kill a girl (and do far worse) in that place.

so in summary. legalise and control drugs (and their production) and properly fund the mental health system so these negative creeps can be healed of their creep causing afflictions and create memory deleting device for juries

I myself am also a friend of Stavros. I still don't really know what to make of it. I've spent A LOT of time with him, and saw as he slowly slipped over the years in mental stability, but I still find it hard to think this was ALL him. Danny has a lot of skeletons in his closet, and wouldn't surprise me at all if he was really the initiator, or had a MUCH larger degree of involvement... But anyway they're both fucked in the head.

There's no excuses for what Stavros has done, I'm sure even he knows it. But I refuse to
believe how its reported is actually how it went down.
There are a lot more things I could say, but I'm not here to defend or persecute. I hate him for what he's done, but still have compassion. I never thought I'd have any amount of compassion for a murderer... I suppose it shows how many shades of grey there are in the black and white of it all.

Static Mind: Danny kept his silence, and also hung around with Stavros afterwards. Stav acted normally for days afterwards. I've heard a lot more things than on the news, but don't wish to speculate. Also 50 cones for these boys really isn't much.

Tripman said "He was an alright guy, a bit mental but one of those guys you would believe to have your back always" and to be brutally honest Stavros would help a friend move a body if he was ever needed to. As sick as it is, if Stav considered you a friend he'd have your back to the end, even in something like this.

To a man I once called brother: Stavros, may God have mercy on your soul

This whole thread and the article it concerns are ridiculous IMHO.
BT

My thoughts exactly.

Let's at least wait until the trial to speculate on what may or may not have occurred, and even then, I'm not sure this is the place for it. Thread Closed
