Could be one guy doing it on his own initiative so he can go into the station and say "I've got a lead on drug users in the local area, give me a few more weeks and I'll lead us straight to them".

Nothing to me mate, I've got more sense than to live in Hartlepool. Just pointing out the posting patterns - which are remarkably similar to the bloke last year who came on EADD calling himself 'MidWalesRaver' or something similar. Although he got himself 50 useless posts so he could PM people....to ask where they lived.

Yeah, yeah, do it. Although you'd think police resources would be sufficient to ensure they'd wouldn't use the same computer for different ids. If there are law-enforcement officers coming on here to pursue or even entrap harmless stoners for posting their views, it's a scandal and needs to be exposed asap.

Then there's nothing I can do. If anyone's concerned and has received any PMs of the kind SHM is speaking of, get in touch with one of the SMODS so they can look into it.

That's a good suggestion..maybe post any suspect pms on here. Then we can decide for ourselves whether SHM is 'paranoid' or simply more vigilant than the average bear.
