If you're going to do amphetamines in spite of the drawbacks (which I should hope you are fluent in, since you're choosing to abuse the drug.) then it's important that you do everything possible to educate yourself on the ramifications of your drug abuse. You've made the first step towards achieving the first goal, the next step is to do research on this medication with multiple
CREDIBLE sources. Bluelight is a great start, better than most! Please take advantage of our search engine, it loves getting any shred of attention. Other examples of credible sources include pubmed, PDR (Physicians Desk Reference), peer reviewed studies, work that is CITED/QUALIFIED.
If you have a heart condition, you're reaaaaally taking a gamble taking amphetamines. I'll tell you right now that Adderall is not worth cardiac arrest. Providing that you know this but for whatever reason do not care:
-
Hydration: Amphetamines dry you out, and that meth mouth you hear about, it's primarily caused by the xerostomia (dry mouth), lack of dental hygiene, and ingestion of junk, sugar-filled, processed, partially hydrogenated shit food. I'm sure smoking cigarettes on top of that doesn't help (and will probably raise your risk of heart attack exponentially with amphetamines) so be sure to avoid cancerous and otherwise hazardous materials.
-
Hygiene: As we covered, dental. Also, general hygiene. Amphetamines make you stay awake, and they stimulate you, often to the point of you physically exerting yourself moreso than normally. They also lower your inhibitions, significantly (although YMMV) which has pros and cons. Therefore, take a shower once you start to feel the effects begin to wear off, it will feel good and be fun, but don't stay in for very long because it dehydrates you and wastes water, a resource which is being exhausted at a rate which cannot be sustained, and one day will be worth more than any commodity you have ever seen, oil, gold, diamonds, combined. Unlike those things, we cannot live without water.
-
Nutrition: Avoid the processed crap that I brought up earlier, the stuff that contributes to meth mouth, diabetes, cardiac/overall disease. Regardless of your appetite, you must eat healthy complete meals, and after your done eating, you're going to take some vitamins. What you're going to take is:
1) a
complete multivitamin(s) (read the nutritional information on the side, often the serving size is two tablets, not one)
2)
Chelated magnesium
3) Vitamin D
4) Omega-3 fatty acids.
Each and every one of these is critical to your experience, for best results, do not consume amphetamines if you cannot do these simple tasks to protect your well-being.
-Sleep: A real problem with amphetamines. Many people take CNS depressants to counter the effects but that's a great way to pickup two dependencies at once. Sleep is perhaps the most important of all things you can do. It's one thing that distinguishes newbies from veterans, knowing when to sleep. I don't care how far the concept of sleep may feel, no matter how out of reach, you must attempt to sleep. Staying up for longer than 24 hours at a time, from what I've seen, if you stay up that long, you're gunna have a bad time.
Not sleeping on amphetamines leaves the door wide open for psychosis. Also, sleep deprivation puts incredible stress on your heart, with a heart condition and family history, you really can't afford to be taking all these risks without consequences, it's bad enough that you're abusing such potent CNS stimulants. Make yourself a nice sleepytime tea, take that hot shower and get in bed and lay down.
Be aware that it's pretty easy to tell (even to the most untrained of eyes) when people are tweaking, your judgement will be slightly off and you won't notice it, it's the lowered inhibitions I mentioned earlier. If you don't keep your dosing low, people you interact with will know. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery while under the influence of amphetamine, it endangers your life and the lives of others.
