New Terms of Use rolling out ~Tues/Wed this week

Back on the topic, thanks to the many regulars who have agreed to the terms over the last few hours. It wasn't showing for the admin group, but we just fixed that bug (@alasdairm time for you to agree too!).

Do let us know if anyone experiences any tech issues with this roll out.

I know it's a minor inconvenience in reality, but for members who are logging in every time rather than just staying logged in it's painful to see it every single time before getting to the actual site.

I browse in private mode and don't stay logged in, is there some way to get to login without seeing it every single time? it's already becoming irritating ....and it's not like it's needed until actual content is read.

I assume the issue is being in private mode means you will be considered a new site user every time. So you get served with the notice every time. But this should only happen if you remain unregistered.

Now we have the terms turned on for registered users, you should be able to agree once, then remain agreed regardless of being in private browse mode?

Or maybe I've misunderstood your workflow here?

where are the agreements after once agreed and accepted?
anyway... personally, i don't give 1 cent what's in the agreement or not. i trust my own sense of morale and ethics and sound decision making.
just happy i finally had a button to accept so i wouldn't get stuck on that page.

i had something removed, too. no idea what. they removed one thing and the left something related to it, so not even myself knew what the whole post was about. weird, right?
complained, and now everything is gone but it's better this way.
no idea if it's relaed to the new agreement since i can't find it anywhere anymore (the agreement, not de semi/fully deleted post)
