North Korea has created a hangover-free liquor that is between 30 and 40 per cent alcohol but leaves you clear-headed in the morning, according to state media.

A recent edition of the Pyongyang Times said the drink, Koryo Liquor, used a cunning combination of six-year-old, top quality ginseng and "scorched glutinous rice". The resulting tipple is a subtle blend of sweet and savoury that is "highly appreciated by experts and lovers as it is suave and causes no hangover", the Times said.

Last year, the North's official KCNA news agency said scientists had developed a drug - with ginseng again a major component - that could cure AIDS, Ebola and MERS. The North's most recent, bombshell was the claim that its latest nuclear test - conducted January 6 - was of a powerful hydrogen bomb.

I bet the pilot is leaning over and saying "do you think they will buy this? I look retarded in here"

North Korea has intense sanctions on it, and they spend most of their money on the military. During widespread famine I am sure the country is looking to make a suave and satisfying distilled spirit. These folks don't even have enough money to be making rotgut in a country still let alone labeled toasted rice liquor.

Oh dear. Have they created dry water yet?

Sometimes I wonder whether the people in that country take their stuff seriously or it's all but a big circus for us.

They are 100 years ahead of us technologically. Basically it's idiocrocy in motion. They also have a form of morphine which isn't physically addictive and causes you to become Mathew maconnahey or Carmen elektra, you get to choose too!

I have a hangover free liquor too, it's called cheap blended Canadian Whiskey, preferably R&R. It works great as long as you don't mix it with other shit, don't drink like a frat boy or a soldier, and switch to water a couple hours before bed.
