Hi everyone,
I've just posted my first study on bluelight here and I thought I'd introduce myself...
My name is Cami, I'm 31, non binary and I really like drugs.
My academic background is in pharmacy. I studied in Paris for 9 years to get my doctorate (normally takes 6 years but I like to take my time...). At the end of my course I wrote a dissertation on the use of psychedelics for depression. As I was writing it I realised I could do that AS A JOB, so I did a masters in psychology in London in 2018. I decided to do my MSc project on the impact of nitrous oxide on time perception. There is no greater joy than giving medical NOS to people and watching them try to do a computer task (turns out they were way too high to do it properly so the results weren't very conclusive
). After the masters I applied for a PhD and I got in, so now I'm studying the neurophenomenology of N2O.
I heard about bluelight for the first time a few weeks ago after sharing my survey on reddit.
I feel weird talking about my own drug use as it's a pretty intimate subject. It feels like talking about my sex life!
Anyhoo that's me, hello!
