New (and less new) RCs - Alphabet Soup

^ 2C-C, 2C-D and 2C-E are your friends ;)

Former as described above, middle 'un "tripping with your ears" (I shit you not) and latter more along "traditional psyche" lines - closest one to LSD but very much its own beast too - "analytical" would be the most commonly used descriptor.
 
Scotch be careful with using too much mxe for wds, mxe itself can be addictive even if more psychologically than anything else. Tolerance is also a factor as it will grow and atay up for years if you abuse it...

2cc is a great place to start if you liked the 2cb... Shambles is on the money with the descriptions, though 2cd is not only acoustic but also visual

Shambles, i remember a post a while back of you mentioning 2cd was tripping for your ears. Id imagine it difficult to explain but seeing as you're great with words do you fancy a bash at describing it please? I assume its more/different than the effect on music whilst on acid.

I'll definitely give these ones a try if the opportunity arises. Nice to see you back to :)
 
I honestly couldn't describe the effects of 2C-D much beyond "tripping with your ears". As Kingme mentioned, there are also visuals but they're light by 2C-standards. If it weren't for the "ear-trip" aspect it'd be insipid and forgettable stuff but that aural sex stuff is truly extraordinary 8o

"Tripping with your ears" is not just a throwaway comment either. I mean it almost literally. In the same way most pcyches induce visual distortions which are just that - distortions, expanding on what is already there, get farther from "reality" the more you focus on them and so forth - that is what 2C-D does with sound. Not just music (although that's obviously a good place to start) but any and all sound. Once you get over the drop dead sexy musical enhancement (and no, nothing like LSD or any other drug I know of in that regard) try using it out and about - nature and so forth. Some of da yoofs around these parts told me when they tried it the best part of the trip came after the party when they were sat under a tree listening to the dawn chorus. And yes, I did say "da yoofs" said that. Should count for summat I'd suggest ;)

Pee Ess: For turbo upgrade add a dash of ketamine. You've never heard owt like it 8o8o8o

(unless you happen to have heard f&b's album which was (at least partially) inspired by that very combo ;))
 
2cd also caused some interesting synethesia... story was after a party on 2cd i was walking towards home in the small hours of the morning and listening through headphones... closed my eyes and felt high literally, and almost instantly. as if each step was on a cloud, effortless, climbing up, removing the weight of the world in a very realistic way.
sadly though, for me it is also lacking a bit of direction, no " personal story" to unravel there. I mean, with lsd or mushrooms or 2ce you get the feeling that there is a point to it, a message. with 2cd (but also 2cb or c) you have to make up your own story. i wouldnt take this if i were bored with nothing to do.
 
2C-D is certainly at the shallower end of the psychedelic pool (it's that unique effect on sound that marks it out as interesting and worthwhile despite lacking the type of depth that tends to come with some of the meatier psyches). I'd argue somewhat on 2C-C and B being in the same waters though. 2C-B ripped me a new one first time I tried it and - even when it's all cartoon neon visuals 'n' giggles I'd argue that is a very worthwhile and valuable thing in its own right. Very few things I can think of are as plain joyous as 2C-B is almost unfailingly. I think 2C-C is underrated on the depth stuff too but - as with all things - YMMV, naturally. For me, 2C-I is the soulless one but you'll find plenty who sing its praises and think it's a bit special. I beg to differ but each to their own and all that.
 
2C-B brought me some far more intense, more depersonalised, more dissociated experiences than I'd ever have expected from it. It also made the world look like The Simpsons and everything feel fine. I will miss it more than perhaps any other drug.

Its sexier, but more evil twin, 2C-E, was its nearest rival, though it seemed to revel in making me burst into tears without much warning. Excellent drug to sit down and put on some Swans to though, if you care to imagine that.

Of the others, I've only tried 2C-I, and one experience marred it for me. An attractive young woman was chatting me up, she stroked my face and said I looked 'cheeky', and I got sketched out and offended by her 'insult'. So 2C-I cheated me out of getting laid, but the other times I took it, it felt pretty pleasant. Tingly psychedelic speed, perhaps. But yeah, it can cheat you out of casual sex.

perhaps it was the 2ci that got you into that situation and just your own paranoia that got you un-laid? :p
personally 2ci is the uninteresting one, as all experiences ive had with it have been somewhat difficult, either bodyload wise, mindfucky in the sketchy way. Nothing dangerous per se, but twas the only drug that i ever felt my balls curl up back in my abdomen.... Id say this is far more unacceptable than lack of casual sex.

2cE is probably the most music enhancing 2c there is. not distortion wise, but hendrix riffs made my body tremble.

perhaps i was a bit too visual... but for precision's sake, 2ci seemingly made all my reflexes somewhat exaggerated (with increased muscle tension) which may have actually made the cremasteric reflex a bit too easy to illicit....

You're probably right. Although when you're in your early thirties, having a teenager fawn over you and call you 'cheeky' is pretty mindblowing, drugs or not.

I had to stop going out for a while.

having never had anyone fawn over me like that, let alone teenaged girls, my mind is boringly whole... just jealous

did not going out solve your problems?
 
No. It made them worse! For a while at least. :D

Now I don't do so much going out, so there's pretty much zero fawning. I tell myself that's the reason anyhow.

might also be the other way around. you just CAN'T get out, because of all the half naked desperate women clogging your door. Even the postman is having a hard time i suppose. Unless he's in on it, and resorts to selling your licked stamps to the willing buyers.

if there s anything i regret not going into the music business (or the movie business, or practically any business that involves me getting paid properly) is the grupies. I wish i were revered.

arent there any more islands in the pacific that worship sea faring white folk who dont speak the local language? id save their virgins from the volcano dip !

I know this post will probably end up getting deleted, but i hope that the mods will realise im trying to stick to rules and regs by not directly mentioning names...

is it just me, or has a well known rc vendor finally run out of their imported blister strips of a popular short acting theniodiazepine? last time i had a browse said research chemical was on a discount sale, which i took full advantage of.

all good things i suppose...
 
yeah etiz is vanishing FAST from every UK supplier. I've not been able to get the proper pharma grade blisters for years, and switched to powder and PG solution as soon as it became apparent that the vendor pills were very unreliably dosed. Even so, ive taken adavantage of some of the clearance sales, and got some very cheap vendor pills in. And some powder. If all goes to plan i shouldnt ever need to buy any more benzos ever again.

i think i got some really jank bk-2-cb a few months ago. although i was enjoyably tripping for a good 8 hours it had me projectile-vomiting at random intervals all night and totally fucked up my stomach for a good week after. i'll think i'll just stick to the classic and avoid the primary amines for the foreseeable future.

especially when it comes to benzos...
why is it that people prefer etizolam anyway? isnt it a bit too short acting?

bk2cb is a bit unpredictable. i suspect somehow its bioavailability varies quite a lot due to various occurences (perhaps the stomach acidity?) and that may account for why it works for some but not for all...
 
things have stopped going to plan immediately. Etiz has stopped working on me. Hopefully/maybe i just nned to give it a break and switch to a lower dose of another substance like diclaz for a while. I was originally only gonna use diclaz at the end of the taper, but it suddenly looks like im gonna need it a lot sooner than that now. Will see how many pills that vendor has left, they were good.
