New (and less new) RCs - Alphabet Soup

Glad you posted this, as I spent my one dalliance with AH-7921 vaping the stuff, only to get the internet equivalent of blank looks whenever I mentioned it around these parts.

I'm amazed at the fact that not many people seem to have tried that ROA.

I only found references to vaping on that place where folk no longer SWIM but don't always seem to realise it. Don't think I saw any real mention of it here for some reason. You'd think it would be fairly obvious that somebody would try chasing an opioid but looks like you are the only BLer who thought to try the obvious.

I'm almost tempted to get some in for the analgesic effect cos it really is impressive but have heard the w/d is brutal and I know there's no way I could afford to use it medicinally and didn't strike me as being a likely candidate for recreational use so unlikely to become a regular thing.

Hello. What would be the better choice out of etiz or pyra if looking for an 'in case of emergency' trip abort ? No benzo tolerance
Fanks

What sort of trip? Only anti-psychotics will "abort" a trip, really.. though etiz will likely ease off anxiety etc.

The most useful defence a tripper can have against bad trips is the ability to change the setting. Changing the music, the lighting, the room or just about anything can have a huge influence on the mindset of a person who is tripping and this makes it an invaluable technique.

Consider also that challenging moments in a trip can be an incredible opportunity for the development of one's character and you may come to the conclusion that many others have - that benzos are great but really ought to be a last resort.
You can draw a parallel outside of the context of illegal drug use to those that drink heavily when times get tough. Instead of dealing with the hurdles that life presents they retreat to the bar, and they tend to be very immature as a result.

Let's face it the comfort of having a "rescue" pill to hand can probably also have a very significant placebo effect. Just knowing it's there if you need would probably reduce the likelihood of having a bad trip in the first place. I think benzos of some description would have some beneficial impact if you weren't enjoying a trip. Though does depend on the type of trip - it's not gonna bring you down from a heavy DMT or Salvia experience for example!

I never trip without benzos on hand. Is very reassuring knowing you have them as an escape parachute for a bad trip. Although I agree uncomfortable experiences can be very beneficial.

I once stupidly added DPT on top of some 5-meo-dipt and had a huge adrenalin spurt with racing heart and panic. I scoffed some mogadon and Valium which relaxed me and then half passed out on the bed while imagining weird skeleton versions of me in jumpers...

Yeah it was good fun apart from the panicy bit. The 5-meo-dipt was nice and euphoric and I thought getting more fucked could only make things better.
Snorting DPT is like snorting wet sludge and is not a nice start to a trip. Which probably contributed to the panic. I did enjoy the weird Tim Burton like skeletons they were very friendly.
I should have learnt after mixing DPT with ketamine and passing out on the lawn.

Butyr-fentanyl out of stock. I wonder if it'll become more apparent quite how widespread it's use was/is now..?

I agree in principle, but as i mostly trip alone I find it far easier said than done.
I have had my fair share of difficult trips and never lost my shit, called an ambulance or done anything really stupid. I generally just ride it out.
I dont trip often, once or twice a year these days. The main reasons for having a benzo on hand this time are 1 - I fancy going balls deep and 2 - out of curiosity / novelty. Seems as good a reason as any IMO

Do you want to wake up with slugs on your face ? Because thats how you wake up with slugs on your face

People dont always take psychedelics as a way of trying to better themselves though. If that is the aim of the trip, then i agree that you should try to ride it out and resolve whatever problems you face, but when taking them for pure hedonism, i dont see the problem in boshing a benzo if things start to turn south.

As said before, its a comfort knowing you CAN abort the trip if needed.
Also ive had brainzaps during a trip once and then i wanted to abort. Not because i was having a bad trip per se, but more like i was showing signs of seizures and extreme pain-ish sensations jolted through my skull...

The advice to change the setting is certainly germane. but don't blitz on benzos at the 1st sign of (psychic) diffficulties.
