Agreed, neurontin was not good for anything recreational or for any other reason(when I took it atleast). Iv heard some people have some success with it, but that was when it was prescribed for neurological reasons( parkinsons and seizure type problems)

Waylost, i took this for months and it never caused any noticeable stomach upset, and i was drinking a lot of coffee and eating like a college student at the time.

Thanks maybe its just aggrevating the undrlying cause of my problem. Cause smoking does something that causes you to accelerate the point where you're going to puke. (obviously it fux ur lungs). So i just quit and thought the stuff in lunges in dislodging and causing me to gag but it seems to be doing something to my stomach.

But its drying my stomach out quick and this shit has been going on for like a week. I feel fine except this qeird quezy stomach.

Neurontin is a very safe drug, tolerance does build quickly--however.

Also, a bad side effect is terrible diarrhea, like pissing out your ass. This is after abusing it to hell and back, of course.

I just took 2400mgs after reading this thread and never knowing it would be worth at least one shot. Since it seems pretty harmless through conversations about it did I take enough to feel these trippy effects I'm hearing of?

I was crashing off dex and took a shit load of gabapentin before my buddy's came home.. I sat in the other room, once it kicked in I was a social motherfucker.

I am Rx'ed 800mg twice daily but I'll take a shit load occassionally. I have 5 refills and more where that comes from...

Any tips on tolerance? Is it worth it to go past this dose? I didn't get much more than a huge sinking feeling and no anxiety plus heavy and stumbles a bit. A little lower dose would be perfect for anxiety but you obviously can't do it daily cuz tolerance.

Is it something worth taking the edge off dex? Like a lot of it with dex?

Again how fast does tolerance build beyond this point? I don't get effects ever from prescribed doses but I know it works a bit no matter what. I can tell when I don't take it. I want pregabalin but its got its stupid patent. It killed some of my mouth pain today (wisdoms are starting to hurt and need to get them pulled).

This is not a drug you want to fuck around with (it's worthless).

It's 6 AM here and it's about time for my daily roxicodone shot 30mg...

There are many, many great drugs that you should not mix with alcohol. Oh, sorry, 'fuck around with'.

I was prescribed Neurontin 3600mg x 3 daily for neuralgia before Lyrica was approved in my country. I never felt high or anything because I titrated my dosage from 100mg until my neuropathic pain in my foot was gone but my neurologist told me that she has elderly patients passing out from taking 50mg. The Neurontin definitely changed my personality after 2-3 months of high dosage, I was almost mentally numb and much less emotionless after a while. I used to black out if I drank a few drinks which is uncharacteristic of me.

Edit: so far not very much... it's been 1 1/2 hours only since I posted but we'll see. Holy shit balls though I "sharted" while I was eating my ramen soup right after posting last. The diahrrea sucked dick but was short lived so I can't complain too much... shit happens literally ... I'll give it another couple hours or so. Last night was good we'll see about the tolerance...

I took this for awhile and thought nothing of abusing it. I didn't know it had any recreational value whatsoever. In my opinion, if you need large doses of something to get high off it, it wasn't meant to be that kind of drug. I have never had a buzz off any med that wasn't a controlled substance.

It seems to be about as abusable as depakote or lamictal. (And those won't get you high at all.) It's used a lot as a mood stabilizer for bipolar disorder. My doctor also gave it to me to ease Xanax withdrawal- it didn't work at all for that.

If I've had any EtOH at all when taking this- I mean, even a few drops, it's absolutely horrible. It super duper potentiates the effects and in a negative way.

Gabapentin on it's own is certainly euphoric and abusable- for some people. I'm one of them, fortunately. I've always thought it was a bipolar thing, but I don't think so now.

Despite a similarity in structure to Depakote, it's very, very different in effect.

You've not had many unscheduled drugs then. DXM, Carisoprodol, thousands of depressants, Kava, Salvia, Kratom- all very 'recreational' drugs.

Gabapentin is quite fun. Darvocet like i said gives it a nice little extra hit.

I have no opiate tolerance or gabapentin tolerance so 2/3 darvons 1200mg of gaba has me feeling pretty sweet.

Obviously nothing like an oxy , as i'm told, but its not worth fucking with that shit. Some stuff is too good.
