I agree with you on dicksizing, though equally a discussion on what limits are safe is also very useful.

with pregab when you start to push it hard the effects change noticeably, it's helpful to people imho that they understand what the effects are in relation to where they are against personal dose - some people will hit the OEV with less than 900mg I suspect.

I don't know what happens if you push it further than that, not sure if I might give it a try and find out though....but would be very interested in hearing from people who's gone through and past the intense OEV stage to hear what it's like, even if we don't talk about dosage

for example if you start getting tachycardia on top of the OEV then I'm not going to be taking higher doses than I currently take

I don't see issue with that personally, it's rule interpretation & enforcement by the mods though.

follow the threshold, light, moderate, strong, intense, extreme scale on sub wiki would work too.

interestingly lots of reports there have OEV at lower dose than I need, that might be a tolerance thing but my hunch is it's more a YMMV thing personally, same with getting the munchies, I never ever get them on pregab

reports of people doing 1 to 1.5g as well....but context and effect is important as is tolerance, so who fucking knows if that much is safe if you have low tolerance, I'm not rolling that dice cold, but certainly might push things harder 1 day just to see, issue is at high doses I find things too intense without also taking a benzo to smooth things out. hmm I'm talking myself into doing a big dose
 
There shouldn't be any issues discussing what doses cause what effects, in anyone's personal experience.

That sort of information is important for potential harm reduction.

"Dicksizing" is a different issue all together.

I guess it's all about how things are worded, and what seems to be being emphasized.

Basically this. Discussing your own personal doses and subjective effects is no problem - positively encuraged in fact.

Flexing for the sake of flexing is not allowed. The line probably is a lil fuzzy hence handling it lightly unless it got wildly out of hand.

I don't understand the recreational part. Are you getting high from them? I've taken them and gabapentin and have had no meaningful euphoria or anything. Nothing. If anything at all, they may cause some drowsiness. I would equate them to Benadryl.
 
I wasn't dick sizing in the least, all I was saying is you wanna really understand pregabalin high you gotta go way above 600mg.
I didn't do it for ages & always took 600mg till one day I was a bit Nihilist & decided to see what would happen after reading EROWID BTW SHAMBLES where people have posted taking 3500mg (dick sizing on Erowid huh?????)

I did 1350mg, I had no idea about the effect of Pregab, you go into those doses it becomes something else, the CEV's begin, you are melted into a lump of Candle Wax, walking isn't an option & you begin to loose touch with the body in a weird way.

this is exactly my point too.

It's slightly different for me, at 900+ I get OEV, especially with lots of weed, more than that and co-ordination starts to go and I get wobbly.

however I never take pregab on it's own so there's usually some other thing going on at the same time too.

As I said, dosage alone isn’t dicksizing. Saying things along the lines of “You don’t even know drug x until you reach dose y” definitely is.

Nobody knows shit beyond their own personal experiences. It’s both inaccurate and, yes, dicksizing to make objective claims about subjective experiences.
