one thing that helps me is thinking back to when i was a kid ,and back then just coming home watching my favorite tv shows with good food, and playing games was the best thing in the world ,seriously it works for me,im 23 :)

but now thinking bout relaxing at home with good tv,my g/f ,her good cooking is great

update...........

Day 6 and counting............

And no craving's as of yet. Very, very unusual.

I want to thank everyone for their comments, suggestions, advice and prayers. A 23 year old best friend is a hard friend to leave behind, beleive me! 8(

Anyway, I wanted to let you know that my mother, yes my mother, mentioned the Ibogaine treatment to me when I sought counseling and was able to quit for 3 months last time. She couldn't remember the name, but she described it to a tee from what I read above about it and thru further research on the internet.

I'm almost willing to give that a shot at this point. Seriously! There have only been 8 related deaths since reseach began, and most were related to either health and/or parralled drug usage while on treatment.

My biggest fear after hallucinating for three days on this shit would be, will I come back normal? With the exception of not craving drugs anymore, will my personality still be the same charming, charasmatic personality it is today? LOL! Or will I look at my wife and ask, "who are you, where are the hookers"?

Just my biggest fear, that's all. 3 days worth of heavy hallucinations is scary enough alone, especially for someone who HATES psychodelics! 8o Freaked out, tied down with restraints etc., holy shit, I can only imagine!

Anyway, will keep you all posted. Your all great people! And thanks to everyone for actually giving a shit! ;)

your friend, Le Junk :)

Coming from a family of drug addicts and heavy users, I know what your going through in a sense. My advice is to keep yourself busy and surround yourself with things that don't remind you of the crap nasty coca. NA helps a lot of people and it could probably help you too. but to each his own, they say. Stay strong brother and good luck.

I've decided too, never again on cocaine. It's too expensive and I can't stand watching people around me using it. However, there are other devils and I know most of them; so this is a money-saver and something to keep my friends away, not me...

P.S. The cola in this area appears to be at least 20% caffeine, so talk about saving money...

My acetone wash (cocaine purification thread) will remove 100% of any caffeine in cocaine. A whole gram of caffeine is entirely soluble in just 50 ml.s of anyydrous acetone, while cocaine is entirely insoluble.

I know too much, dammit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Devil, devil, devil! :X :X :X

When you spend 23 years with anyone or anything, you ought to know it pretty well.

Thanks Le Junk, I knew that. In fact, what I did was wash cocaine using your method (~60-70% weight remaining afterward), then allow the acetone to evaporate, re-dissolved the leftovers in water and 'plugged' some to see if it had psychoactivity.

There's no mistaking a caffeine high, and there was perhaps a small amount of some amphetamine-like drug mixed in as well to increase euphoria (dis-taste for food, which is uncommon with just caffeine alone).

P.S. unless you have sources for >90% purity, "knowing too much" doesn't prevent being charged huge dollars for legal caffeine mixed in with coke you buy. So if you buy from same people as everyone else, you're paying probably $20/$100 for caffeine.

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!

Just one more huuuuuuge reason to quit! ;)

Le Junk.............day 6

Nice le junk. I recently quit smoking weed. I know this is alot different but it's always been my drug of choice (if you even call it a drug haha). That's good to here your on day 6 keep going you got it!

My girlfriend had been doing coke almost every day since she was 11 for 8 years. Then she quit cold turkey. Withdrawal wasn't easy, she had vivid hallucinations, paranoia, and suicidal thoughts, but it was only at night time for some reason. Withdrawal for her lasted about 2 weeks, and aside from exactly 2 instances of re-use, she's been clean for nearly 1.5 years now.

She was also messing with IV heroin and meth at the time she quit. I don't know how the hell she did it, because I've heard horror stories from people using far fewer drugs than her, and she quit like it was a minor inconvenience.

Le... hope this was another GOOD day .....my prayers are for you and your family .... just the best I can do to help you do what you need to ........keep the faith >>>>>

I dont know you at all but believe me when i say I am damn proud of you, seriously bro. keep up the good work and things will come together, i promise. Keep updating too! -Spaz-

ya the best way is Oding and almost dieing ... well atleast that was a slap in the face from god to me and made me stop..

How's it going, Le Junk? It should be a little bit easier now, after one week. I hope if you ever "relapse," you realize that one single use after years of daily usage isn't the end of the world. Not that i would wish that to happen, don't get me wrong.

P.S. some time between 2 and 4 weeks, you may suddenly feel extreme shock at how different everything is. It hits home all at once (it has for me anyway) how completely it was controlling you. If/when that happens it's partly astonishing and partly sickening - but that's also the point it no longer has any power over you. IMO it's still possible to 'relapse' then, but only by your own choice.

seriously man, think back about all those times you ran out for caine and remember that feeling everyday. The shitty wanna die cant sleep feeling. I know you know. Think about that before you put that straw to your nose. Remeber what its going to feel like when its all gone. And just thank god its only cocaine and not opiates, thank your lucky stars you dont have to kick and w/d. And are you going to let a shitty central american powder run your life? your better than that

I would look into Iboga treatments. There are treatment centres around that facilitate the experience. Iboga is a psychedelic that helps in curing addictions and other challenges one might face daily. A friend of mine's boss straight quit smoking for nine months after one treatment - he had been smoking for at least 15 years.

Think it might be worth looking into - it is good to have the support of someone close with any healing experience - I would suggest researching this together.

Here is a link to help get started.

Le Junk, youll do good if you keep your head in it...remember all the things that make it worth quitting. Think of your wife. Thats the most important aspect of your life right now, but if you dont feel like she is (as in, you feel like the coke is. which would be normal right now, its an addiction) constantly remind yourself that she is number one. Having a wife or a girlfriend that loves you more than anything is one of the greatest tools anyone can have when battling an addiction, so take full advantage of that.

Keep yourself occupied all day, every day, and cravings shouldnt be that big of an issue. As they say, "boredom is recoveries worst enemy.".

He hit it dead on.
you'll be able to quit once you think about the reasons you're quitting for.
good luck Le junk.
