Opioids Need advice asap! Scared mixture of methadone and adderal xl

Hey, so im freaking out. I had ankle surgery back in august 2011 and been on and off perc and vic ever since but mainly on percs. Well today i snagged two of my coworkers 10mg methadone pills and i took one 10 mg around 1230pm earlier today not much happen just felt a little wavy or relaxed i guess a good while later. Well tonight i was being a idiot and didnt think about it and crushed up a 10mg adderal xl snorted it and then took mayby about half of another 10mg of methadone so probally around 4 or 5mgs worth. Now im freaking out bc i neer cross pills before like this and im scared to go to sleep because of all the horror stories on methadone. Will i be okay? I dint count myself as a new user to opiates bc ive done so many percs in the past 6 months usually by snorting a go thru about 4-5 a night mayby. Please reply and give me so info on what to do. I feel like a complete chode. Deff never doing these again

I think youll be ok it sounds like the addral may be giving you some anxiety. If your not nodding off and drooling on yourself then your probably not close to ODing. 25mg of done isnt a huge dose and if you have some tolerance then I wouldnt think it would even get you that high. But if you think your in danger call the paramedics no one on here can give you any definative answers.

Hey, please don't take methadone like that without a tolerance again. You almost took a dangerous dose of methadone. People have died at 20mg, even less. I am not trying to scare you. I am hoping you will be fine, as if you were going to overdose, I don't believe you would be capable of getting online.

How is your breathing? How much oxycodone do you normally take to nod? Are you having any trouble staying awake? Are you nodding?

What you need to know about methadone is that it can take 2-3 hours for it to peak, and you don't feel the pills for like 1-2 hours after dosing. Methadone hits you, and then it hits you again with a second wave about 3 hours in.

Im deff not drolling nor nodding off i think just tired from work all day and would love to sleep. I usually take around 3-5 over a 2 hr span sometimes and may start to nodd off. Should i stay awake all night or just go to sleep?

So since i took second dose of mayby 5mgs of the methadone within around 10hr from the first intial 10mg dose would that be too much to have in my system added with a crushed adderl xl 10mg

3-5 percocet could mean either 15-25mg oxycodone if you have the 5mg percs, or 30-50mg if you have the 10mg percocet.

I think you will be fine to sleep, but how many hours has it been since your first and last dose of methadone? I just want to be on the extra safe side.

Just so you know, with your level of tolerance, I would have started with 2.5mg (two and a half mg) methadone, and redosed after 3 hours depending on how I felt.

Most of the time they are 5mg pks, sometimes ill get some 10s of endocet or pks every now and then some opana 40s so hopefully my tolerence is high enough

How long has it been since you took the first and second dose? Methadone can be overwhelming because it lasts so long. I have friends who take methadone in the morning, and wake up the next day still high as shit.

My first dose was at around 1230
Noon of the methadone a 10mg pill and at 8ish tonight i crushed a adderal xl 10mg and snorted it then around 930ish i thought it couldnt hurt to do about a half mayby less of the methadone which would probally be around 5mgs

I'm sorry but due to timezones, that doesn't really help me. But I will say that you appear to be coherent and if you are not having trouble breathing, I think you'll be safe to sleep and just to avoid methadone in the future.

Oh mybad dude umm i would say the intial dose of 10mg of methadone and the second of mayby 5mf were about 9 hours apart and i crushed a adderal 10mg xl roughly 1hr prior to the 5mg does of the mdone

Thankyou. I think you're good to sleep mate, as long as there is no trouble breathing or staying conscious. You are coherent and have a good perception of time and dosing, so in my non-professional opinion, based on my own experience only, I would say you are going to be alright.

Just don't take that much methadone again! If you can, avoid it all together. As you are discovering, it can be overwhelmingly long acting.

Be very thankful you happened to mix it with a stimulant, not saying this is safe, or a good idea, but if you had taken a benzodiazepine this story would have a different outcome. Never mix benzos (xanax, valium, ativan, klonopin, etc) with opiates, especially methadone.

It sounds like you should be fine, and 10mg of adderal isn't too high of a dose, I think if there were to be any seriously negative effects you would know by now, but I will add that you said you usually snort percs and that's not the best idea, percocet has way more acetaminophen than oxycodone so it's kind of a lot of pointless strain on your nasal cavities, taking them is probably your best option but I guess that's just an opinion, but it'll make your nose happy.

Thanks and good to know. I never take those anyways. But after i just took the second dosages i look up online what was regular normal amount was i saw a shit ton lf beware death sites and it geeked me out. So tonight is my close call... Outa the pill game fo sho.

Yea i know the apap is a monster on the nose. Deff a bad habit but oce your use to it. Well its hard to be like im jusssst gonna pop them. This really sucks i actually have a interview next week in florida for medical device sale rep and i pull this crap tonight

Hey man, there is zero reason to snort percocet. the effects are felt SOOOOO much better taken orally, I shit you not. By snorting them, you are only wasting it, and causing your body harm. It's one thing for people to snort pure roxicodone, but percocet should not be snorted under any circumstances.

I'm surprised you feel anything at all by snorting them. I'll bet it's mostly placebo.

And what do you mean? Tonight should be a learning experience, it doesn't have to fuck up your interview!

WHAAAAT? i had no idea the leathal dose was so low with methadone that is scarey because last time i did methadone the dude told me the pills were 10 mg so i took 2 with little to no opiate tolerance and got extremely fucked up and found out later they were actualy 20 mg each. i was really fucked up but i had no idea i was in danger of ODing.
