Oh shit yea barrow is the farthest north you can go, its nickname is like top of the world or some shit. Its past the line of the arctic circle. Was she native (eskimo)? I assume she was because they are the only ones who can hunt whale legally. Not too many people live in barrow other than natives, its mostly people just drilling for oil who go up there to work.

I lived in southcentral, Anchorage to be exact. Its the largest city and no where near as cold as Barrow. Ha i was in brooklyn in 2010 and a lot of new yorkers didnt know where alaska was it was kinda funny.

I heard about the water contamination in west virginia, when are you guys gunna get water back ohline?

I've always wanted to go, not really sure why. I'd be down for a big road trip, drive up through Canada, and then into Alaska.
 
It's so nice that 'polar vortex' has passed. Fuck a -15 wind chill when I'm not used to it regularly staying in the 30s all day.

No clue, dude. It's slowly starting to dissipate but FEMA and the national guard still aren't sure when the water will be safe 100%. My biggest concern is not getting to chemo weds because even hospitals have shut down unless you're critically injured. Everything is just a big clusterfuck.

I've not been a moderator (although I did once or twice in the past consider myself an eligible candidate for the position), but I have a great appreciation of those who selflessly dedicate their time to maintaining the structure and preserving the integrity of the forum, and who ultimately work to promote the continuity of Bluelight's existence as an invaluable resource by doing so.

^^Fuck yeah, it was 86 down by me today. I spent the afternoon on the beach, even saw a seal sunning himself out on a rock. It was pretty deserted too.
 
Over here its been unseasonably warm for about a week. I hate it like this. I don't mind the changing of the seasons, I just like when the weather is consistent with what we expect for the time of year. Its been raining a lot. Sucks for the plow drivers who are watching $$$ fly out the window with the rain instead of snow. Every morning has been hazy over the past week, too. It seems the temps drop overnight to just around/below freezing and then once the sun is up it all melts off and its so misty the visibility is awful. Causes for very slick conditions in the morning commute, too. Lots of car crashes during that time.

haha i left alaska to come down here for the cheap and plentiful dope. i love ecp and i love ny but i dont think i could deal w the cold-ish winters and so many people everywhere all the time..altho ive found ny has more attractive men. I hate the men here.

Well OK. Life is just alright. I'd say the worst thing is that I'm still a full on junkie but, I'm doing OK for a junkie. Just got my very first brand new car (a lease actually) so there's that. I still haven't found the love of my life but, I at least manage to get my dick wet from time to time. Admittedly it's been awhile at the moment but, whatever. I still have the same job and I guess that's good for a junky.

So anyways I guess I'm living well for a junkie. For a normal person my age I could be doing better but, considering that I don't like kids I'm right on schedule.
