Not the companies or services who do 911. Its for the rich fuck old people who need an ambulance ride from upstate into the city for their podiatrist appointment or some BS. Certain companies just specialize in that, its just a taxi service for old people who can't walk.

Yeah I didn't know there was such a thing. High class ambulances for rich people. Hah. Makes sense though. The high and mighty rich folk are way too good to just call 911 like a regular schmuck and ride in a normal ambulance.
 
^Just realize your tax money is paying for granny to ride from upstate New York or up in NH or Maine to the cities for whatever reason they need to go there. And a ride like that is not cheap, we are talking in the $1500 range for long trips like that. As long as a doctor or registered nurse writes off that they have some dumbass reason to ride in an ambulance then medicare of medicaid pays the bill. With the way the current elderly are just sucking the funds out of medicare it will be bankrupt well before our generation is old and useless, needing everyone to cater to us like infants.
 
^Yes indeed, that is assuming no bells and whistles. You can tack on a couple hundred if they setup an IV line, run and ECG, give any medications, or other advanced procedures. The standard taxi ride to the hospital (or wherever the person is going) is around $500. Its not the luxury that makes those fancy ambulance companies expensive, its the length of the trip. After a certain mileage it starts to get more expensive with each additional mile.

When I wear my pink and purple polka dotted slingshot it always takes me longer to drive home too. I think it is because we are driving slower to be careful while checking yourself out in the visor mirror. And also trying to put on a show for the other commuters as well.
 
So this European guy I work with has been trying to convert me to using a safety razor instead of the cartridge style Gillette/shcick/whatever that most of us use. I finally ordered one with a brush and some shaving soap and after just trying it for the first time I would recommend this to any man sick of paying the outrageous price for cartridge refills that suck by comparison anyway. It's so much better that I felt the need to make this random ass post.

FUCK YEAH! I bought myself a Merkur safety razor when I was 17 and never looked back. I'm only in my 20s and I've already saved the better part of a $1000 on blades, and I can't even grow a good beard...
 
Ya man I got a Merkur myself. Seemed to be the most highly recommended brand by a long shot when I did some research. I mean the initial investment of buying the stuff is fairly high. I spent 50$ on just the merkur but, the blades are so cheap it'll make up for it in no time. Think I got 25 blades of different brands to try for like 8$ or something. Honestly man I'm 32 which by bluelight standards is 80 something and that was without a doubt the most pleasant shave I've ever had except for the few times I've had a barber hook it up.

This has literally turned shaving from a miserable chore to something that is actually kind of nice.
 
I agree, I like that I can do it quickly or do it twice carefully in opposite directions to get an incredibly smooth shave.
I have to be fairly sober to shave now though (especially at the beginning, I'm A LOT more adept at it than I was 5-6 years ago-after I'd had it a few years even..). Can't even be too stoned or I'll just do a sloppy job, it's much easier to leave the odd hair about.

That's a good deal on blades, where did you find that if I might ask? I used Merkur blades at the beginning, and they really were better than the no-name blades at CVS, etc.
 
I ordered it all from classicshaving.com. Got the merkur 38c there even though it was cheaper elsewhere because this was really the only site I found from which I could order everything I needed at the same time. My brush was like 16$ or something. They had some that were over 200$ just for the brush and I can't for the life of me figure out why someone would pay that. I think the site is a little pricey compared to others but, they had everything which was convenient. Do you use a brush and cream or soap?
 
For $200 that brush better give a great blowjob. JB is that the type of razor that the dude from pawn stars is advertising? I have been interested in one of those.
