seems like a lot of unrelated info to me.. i don't have time to read through it all but as far as I know MSDS is more for the handling of and workplace application of hazardous chemicals. I'm sure there is some overlap, but I always thought it to be a very different application when direct ingestion is involved, like say using for extraction process that is going to be then vaporized and inhaled. My experience with MSDS is more like how to safely handle dangerous chemicals, for example what personal protective equipment to wear, what temperatures to maintain and avoid, and so forth. It is general rules that apply to industry standards. I would think for extraction purposes you would need to look at specific chemical manufactures and their specific practices, for example this is where you would find out whether or not there is stuff added to the butane or if it is pure butane.
I think you have good intent but may be looking in the wrong direction. To understand whether or not another chemical besides say butane would be better/worse for extraction purposes, one would be needing to look into and have an understand of the chemistry behind the extraction. This would ultimately tell you whether or not more/less THC,CBD, terpenes will be extracted. Also, if one fully understood the chemistry behind it then one would be able to know whether or not trace elements would be left behind and if so, how to further extract them.
