Benzos My super rude shrink please advice!

Keep in Mind street PCP isn't as clean as what was used in medicine brother, the PCP game and reality is fucking crazy and disgusting all in its own right.

Most of my dads team from then are in Prision for life thats how big it was for me growing up, my parents had to end up cutting peoples faces out of pictures in our house to avoid affiliation. My dad fled the game when two of his crew were murderd right here in Minneapolis found in the trunk of cars.

Unless anyone else has grown up in an angel dust family please keep your comments to yourself. Your right the psychologist at minneapolis's biggest pysch ward was probably wrong when he discussed this with me, ignorant bluelighter's are probably more intelligent then him and his 20 years field experience.

Way to take that shit the wrong way man. But anyway you contradict yourself in your first paragraph. You say you where exposed to pcp smoke as a child but then blame your grandparents lsd use. Your trying to make two differant arguments at the same time and only one of them makes sense. I can buy that you where exposed to pcp as a child and it fucked you up. I dont buy that your grandparents or parents drug use pre your conception has anything to do with it.

I have had doctors tell me some whacky shit about drugs. I bet he was talking out his ass. But hey if you wanna come up with some sources or evidence that can back you up i will gladly concede to being a typical ignorant bluelighter.


But i am glad you got your kpin sorted out.

The point is, if you were never directly exposed to the PCP in utero or as a child (i.e. the PCP somehow entered your system), the symptoms you were experiencing had nothing to do with the PCP.

Yeah the psychologist was probably wrong. Unless the psychologist meant to say your exposure to an environment of drug abuse as a child affected you psychologically, which is possible.
 
Nasty bitch. I know the hydroxyzine trick, a docotr puled on it me when i was in something like a panic attack lasting for days. Find another one. And tell the shrink to go fuck herself in the ass with a baseball bat with spikes on it.

Theres been so many doctors in my life that i have met and. instantly felt the urge to tell them something along the lines of what you mentioned...now i have the words to do so.lol Thank you PurpleKush1. :-D
 
No prob bunge, haha im glad someone shares my hate towars them. Ive met only one respectable shrink, and to some extent. Oh so you are psychotic,have been abusing coke,Mdma and meth? Imma prescribe you 70 mg adderal then!!The first 2 weeks were seroquel, and thats the only timer its been heplful. After wards i was suspossed to take 100 mg sero everynight,but i binged for days on the adderal then took a monster dose of sero.Wake up, repeat. FUck seroquel though.and fuck shrinks who are paid under the table to prescribe you SSRI's afor everything.Assholes.
 
my dad did meth before i was born quit after he found out my mom was pregnant and started again when i was born my mom used before and during pregnancy and once i was born i was often in a car or house with meth smoke and i'm perfectly fine it is such an significant change that occurs when parents use drugs before pregnancy and only the mom can cause problems for the child when using during pregnancy after if you are subjected to ingesting the drugs that also could be a problem but it doesn't necessarily cause problems the only thing it will due for sure is make you an addict meaning that if you decide to use drugs when you're old enough to get them you will become addicted if you do it more than just a handful of times addicts are born not made true circumstance can make it more likely but if you were born to drug addicted parents there's a good chance that you will be born an addict even if you never touch a drug you can still be an addict

No wonder you had trouble with the pshrink, you have the exact same mentality!!! No wonder she commented "You're right, I'm wrong" sarcastically- you probably came off exactly that way and deserve it.
As far as I know, no psychoactive substance can cause any inheritable genetic damage. Radiation, sure. Addiction and damage from the womb like crack babies, absolutely. Also, your father has a genetic disease, I suppose you blame your grandparents for that.
I worked in a Psychiatric hospital, and when it started going broke and laying off people, I worked at a franchise of psychiatric half-way houses for many years and let me tell you, many psychiatrists are total incompetent fools who turned their brains off after they got a medical degree. Psychiatrists are looked down on by every other medical specialty (brain surgeons are the highest regarded) And qualifications worse for psychiatrists over twenty years ago, when much less about actual brain science was known.

As for the PCP/DNA damage thing: no. Just no. PCP and acid may be "helluva drug" level substances, but there's zero scientific evidence that they damage DNA, even when taken by pregnant women. Show me one peer-reviewed medical study that says otherwise and I'll take it all back. Just because a drug has powerful psychoactive effects doesn't make it a teratogen.

Mental illness and addiction, on the other hand, ARE hereditary to a great degree.

It most definitely does cause detrimental issues when a developing fetus/embryo is exposed and will effect neurodevelopment.

I'm kind of "scared" of doctors - especially shrinks. Before the appointment, I often think what I'm going to say, but when the appointment comes, I kind of freeze and can't express myself the way I would want to. :|
 
I have learned what works best for getting the most out of an apt with ur shrink, is putting everything on the table and be completely honest and express to them ur sincerity to making honesty #1 policy in doctor patient relationship, I do it..i have what I need , RX wise..

ABsolutly not. Maybe ytou were lucky and fell on a good shrink, but thats just luck. If i need medication i go to the shrink and say ive never used drugs unless what is prescribed and lie to get what i need, because if i tell him all the shit i did i will finish like OP, with hydroxyzine.

Kinda gotta agree there. While i agree that honesty is a good policy when discussing medical problems (after all, how can they treat you if they dont have the full picture), honesty usually isnt a good policy when discussing drug use and in particular, drug addiction.
The thing is with alot of GPs they dont always have a great deal of knowledge about various meds and the issues surrounding them.
For instance, one of my local GPs is a really nice middle-aged lady, very sympathetic and understanding but faith in her abilities does wane a little when she has to check her pharma referance EVERYTIME she prescribes.lol
Shes also been hesitant in the past when prescribing dihydrocodeine to me because, in her own words, "you have had an addiction issue with zopiclone and dihydrocodeine is also addictive" i mean seriously?? their not even the same class of drug!.
Anyway, im babbling on on now, but my view is: be honest about symptoms etc but play ignorant when it comes to medications.
After all, doctors are used to being in charge of the situation; Most of them dont like it if you appear to be more intelligent or knowledgable.
