First ever trial with dissociatives (except Nitrous Oxide).
Me and 2 friends started off with 25mg capsules of it taken orally to see if it worked.
About an hour later walking back to friend Bs house we feel it start to work. It felt similar to alcohol, nitrous and possibly ethylphenidate in a weird sense but not completely any of them. In no way similar to any of the many psychedelics I have tried. No real visuals yet.
We sublingualed 15mg each and decided we currently enjoyed the slightly off-balance physical distortion and sensation in general. Everything seemed "off" and unusually distorted but not in a way we could quantify. The unreality and feelings of disconnection was rather unpleasant. We took turns playing Skyrim which was utterly incredible. However the experience was just "off". We all agreed we felt physically and mentally disabled in an utterly unenjoyable way. We took another 15mg to see if it improved with dose.
We tried to do some NOS but although it was incredibly immersive and brutally visual we realised there were serious respiratory issues so stopped. Friend A had an effect during the nitrous were they experienced being on some beach and washed around by the waves which he enjoyed but got freaked when we explained how he'd barely been breathing.
As the experience dragged on we got more and more irritated by the perpetual disconnection and general "oddness". It felt like an extremely unclean sense of intoxication unlike stimulants or psychedelics which feel like an enhancement of consciousness and not an inhibitory effect. We eventually settled on the decision that while mildly interesting in some ways, MXE was ultimately rather boring and in many ways unpleasant.
I may try an M-hole dose again at some point in the future but pretty disappointed thus far.
