musical instruments and trippin!!!

I've played djembes with a friend on ecstasy and that was pretty awesome hearing our beats sync and feed off each other's rhythm.

I play guitar and have come up with many riffs on Pot, a couple on ecstasy. I love to jam on LSD but pretty much just jam around material i already came up with or play with music. Mushrooms I will play some simple acoustic songs but i don't pick up the guitar much on shrooms. I tried to play guitar on about 22 mgs of 2ce and that was not happening .

Oh lord, tripping and playing music is heavenly. I've been playing hand drums since I was 10, and now I'm 20 and tripping and wow... It's always an IMMENSE pleasure to drum high. My most recent mescaline experience featured about and hour and a half of me drumming things that should have been ILLEGAL, man. Like, I felt like I was a modern musical pioneer exploring new frontiers in music.

Hahaha, and last time I was on shrooms, I was with two musician friends, and as soon as it kicked in we were all like "let's play some music! yeah! oh boy oh boy!"

This is actually an experience I live for.

I love playing some bass while tripping! Mix in some delay and I end up having a ton of fun. My hand skills go way down tho(what me and my friends refer to as "mashed potato hands". But a ton of fun none the less!

I play the guitar and I remember spending a few hours on acid just playing the guitar. Nothing I played sounded very good when sober but I could sort of see the sound, it was amazing. I would strum a chord on the guitar and the air around me shimmered and rippled, it was as if I could create my own universe of sound. Then when I listened to what I recorded the next day it was absolutely awful. So sadly I am not a musical pioneer while I trip.

If i smoke pot then play guitar I suck. If I play guitar and start smoking pot in between I can play better than sober.

i had some of the best hallucinations sitting in front of a my electric piano on HWBR and morning glory, high dose, visual distortion and i had a tinkle to I wish i knew (how it would feel to be free), i remember playing sloppy, but also flowing, though its jazz so who gives a fuck anyway?

I quit piano lessons to get high, picked up and guitar and now i fly..

playing instrument to me is like a drug itself, it does something to me

I've played electrid guitar on LSD, 2c-i, 2c-e, 2c-t-2, and mushrooms.

Music sounds the best on 2c chemicals for me, and with the added stimulant effect, it does wonders for playing guitar very precisely.

LSD gave me alot of musical creativity, but not as much stimulation as the 2c's

Mushrooms it was just difficult to play, as my visual field was very distorted, and at some points i would become too lost in my own thoughts and i would stop playing for maybe 5-10 minutes

sometimes i like to play music on psychedelics, sometimes i'm unable to. Highly situational for me. Playing bass on 2c-t-2 is pretty rad, though usually I just like to pick around on this nylon string guitar i have if i play while tripping.

You are. :)

Music is an infinite playground where there are no walls, floors, or ceilings; relative only to itself. Its impossible to play a wrong note, and any act of music making is a perfect movement in the cosmic orchestra.

Cool things would happen if more musicians realized that. :) <3

^ ^ Glad to see someone who thinks like me. =D

Just a few walls are needed... perhaps floors... some steady unit of measure (for rhythm) and some sense of tonality/tonal center... Like the Earth beneath and the air/water to swim through.

I like to think about the connection between music and the physical body. After all, we are composed of lots and lots of systems and actions harmonizing together and doing their thing in certain rhythms at various speeds (and as we know, rhythm sped up turns into tones...) Something as mundane as the flow of insulin from the pancreas having a distinct pattern or wave translating into a voice or instrument of its own.
