Music for Rolling

Atb live from Eneergy 2011 is a great set to listen to rolling or stone cold sober like me now! :-D

Apparat - The Devils Walk (haven't rolled to this, yet...just heard a song on breaking bad the TV show that led me to this album, which turns out to be IMO a good one to roll to)

Red Hot Chilli Peppers - By the Way (don't know why, maybe because people were just playing it around the time I had my best MDMA experiences :P)

I'm no d&b connoisseur but older pendulum was great ('spiral' when it drops then peaks is a fond memory), Concord Dawn, and many more I forget the names of. - http://youtu.be/Sq0Pg7fnkAg

Radiohead - Pyramid song

Pink Floyd - wish you were here

Countless other singles that I would remember if I was on MDMA now.... I'd come up with so many better tracks

Dubstep wasn't really around when I got into MDMA heavily, and haven't been able to get into it since :( haven't had a good roll in yonks so perhaps it'll grow on me while under the influence.

Best mdmaemories for me would be smaller groups of around 10-15, very relaxed and plurry. The huge raves and festivals were great fun but just not quite as good in my experiences. Never been to a doof.

I agree that genres don't matter on MDMA :) I can usually feel out a small group and make an epic playlist that everyone will like. Can include everything from hip hop, the beatles, 80's synth pop, rock, punk rock, orchestral, funk/soul, techno etc etc.

Some of my favourites are songs that I associate strongly with certain good rolls :)

My first roll, a friend played/sang The Past and Pending by The Shins... first time hearing music on MDMA and first time hearing the song, so it totally blew my mind. The kind you never forget no matter how many times you listen to the song or how many times you roll :D

That's a great one DM. My mate first played me the shins while I was rolling deep and heavy and it blew my mind. Couldn't understand how something could be so beautiful, was floating on pillows of pure bliss :)

I love rolling whilst at home, usually me and some mates have a few drinks and drop and because it being a home environment things always get messier than if you were out in the city, this little gem always carries me away on a journey into my soul.

BLIKSEM

I am not rolling but Dash Berlin - The Better Half of me is definitely a great song to be listening to!!!!! anything from 100 minutes of 2011 and you wont be disappointed!

just thinking of Nite Versions unhinges my jaw.

a plump night out, eargasm, saturday night lotion.

raw as fuck...thats probably more icey as fuck

^ listening to it now - not too bad!!! It will be on my trip playlist! These guys are epic i think it will make my next trip rather spiritual and possibly the experience i have been looking for!

Man music influences ur mind/soul/body on drugs:) I always have powerful spiritual trips especially to this sort of music. If I feel like an energetic high Id pump some psytrance and so forth.

I candyflipped to Orbital's 'brown album' ages ago when I was like 15. Totally blew me away, that when I realised MDMA was a winner..

Sust I think music has an influence on your mind body and soul 24/ 7 MAN!!! Stone cold sober or fucked up as ever... !

This is why the music industry is SOOOO tightly and heavily controlled and TALENTED people get nowhere while lady gaga and people that are made into stars.. get ultra famous.

its all about the message..

Same thing happened with hiphop now look at ITS message... drugs, women, kill your fellow blacks, get as rich as you can and brag about it... MUSIC HAS POWER! And the powers that be understand this.

Why do you think you find yourself humming a tune from some shitty song you heard on the radio.. or a jingle from television from 20 YEARS AGO! You can remember it like you just heard it.

Power.

I find this with Trance, i can listen to it sober and get the feelings of euphoria i have when rolling! I remember a great quote from a documentary saying the xtc is within you :)

This x1000!

I refuse to listen to mainstream music you hear on the radio. Ever since turning 18 and attending concerts and certain festivals, I've realised how shit todays music is.

^ Any albums in particular? Ive liked most of the stuff I have heard on a state of trance.
