Music for Rolling

yeah im noot too keen on trance either even when im on mdma.its ok if somone else was playing it i wouldnt go n change it.but its just not good enough for me on MD i LOVE the build up and drops that dubstep haas while on mdma its just unexplainable how much the build up gets to me then when that drop hits i just loose my fucking mind and dance like im having a fit

Disagree dude, I'll always prefer trance because it sounds better, it's more "epic" and it unites when combined with MDMA a way I haven't seen other drugs do, I can't think of other drugs where there is so much unity in a whole arena. Having said that, when the beats are cranking and the hardstyles pumping there is no way you could convince me that shuffling on MDMA isn't the absolute tits. Especially at hardstyle events when there is lots of people on it, it may look/seem aggressive if you're not use to it, but I don't think it all contradicts MDMA, and Hardstyle is definitely enhanced significantly by MDMA.
I fucking hate mainstream dubstep (skrillex, Nero, knife party etc) I like some of the dark heavy stuff (excision, chasing shadows etc) but m kind of music is liquid DnB , and that deep underground dubstep (kryptic minds, peverlist, burial, kode 9, digital mystikz)

Im just curious where did the hard style music come from? I mean what made Australia adopt it? Its virtually unheard of in most parts of the world. Underground scene has always been House music with lots of MDMA. Really curious to why?

Don't forget that before going out "clubbing" on the weekend, most mainstream Australians went to the pub and listened to hard rock. It makes sense that as Joe Public choose dance clubs over live music venues they were going to want a heavier style of music. Disco never really held the public's attention like it did in Europe or the US. You only have to see the cheesy history of Eurovision to appreciate why their music scene embraces trance or progressive tune more so than harder styles.

MDMA is made for house music imo whether its deep house, trance, progressive house. Anything that has a nice bass with different types of sounds is great. Dubstep annoys the hell out of me, prob the only music I dislike. U cant even dance to it and ur waiting for the music to build up to a nice fat beat but then nothing ever happens LOL Thats just me not sure how others feel about it. Im just comparing from what I have experienced different parts of the globe.

U want music to take u on a journey and trance + mdma will do that. Im just curious where did the hard style music come from? I mean what made Australia adopt it? Theres a club in Melbourne that I'm pretty sure is responsible for most of the hard style genre growing to the levels it has. I don't think I can name clubs here but there's a documentary on it, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjpb5TNobro Pretty sure thats the right one.
Even now, shuffling in Melbourne is far more dominant here then any other city in Australia (and AFAIK most of the world), I've personally had people I've never met ask me if I'm from Melbourne when I have been shuffling interstate. But I think since LMFAO's - Party Rock Anthem I think it's become far far FAR more mainstream.

I have to go through most of this thread still but good shit because I have been trying to find music but I dont know like what the genres are called. its not a matter of getting the music its just I dont know what im looking for here.

have any of you guys ever listened to rap music rolling? Maybe it's just because I like it but it was absolutely awesome. Like this past Friday I was at this party and this song came on and it was pretty intense for a little. Especially at 2:15 in when the first guy comes back in, I pretty much lost it at that point.

I mean none of the girls there were on mdma but im pretty sure if they were we would have needed a mop and bucket afterwards.

oh damn I didnt even look at the forum I thought this was in EDM or something. I guess you guys wouldnt really be down with that.

I dont take back what I said though, mop and bucket man.

That's cause 'roll' is stoopid Yankee dickhead slang, and us dumbcunt Aussies suck America off.

Yeh lets privatise everything wtf

What? What DJ's are you thinking when you say hardstyle? Maybe 'hard style' means something different to you, but IMO it's far from unheard of in other parts of the world - the genre I'd call hardstyle is for the most part produced by DJ's who aren't Aussies.

I meant who influenced Aussies to listen to hardstyle? It is known overseas but nowhere near widespread as other types of music. This is what music Im thinking of below. I dont know any djs who play hardstyle as I dont listen to it. It makes me want to punch a wall thats how badly I dislike it lol but thats just me personally.

Back in the days (1980's I believe) when mdma use became widespread in Dallas, Texas where the whole mdma pills + raves came into existence is when the underground house music was born and associated with pills. I still keep my opinion that mdma is made for house music including all genres. Some people may disagree with me which is fair enough. Its just like LSD/shrooms/DMT which is associated with psychedelic trance aka GOA. I feel that most drugs are connected to different types of music meaning a specific group of genres may be enhanced by certain drugs. Try a high dose of Molly with country music and u will just go nuts LOL its not meant for that. I personally enjoy psychill or ambient music too but I dont feel that MDMA would be appropriate for that. Just my 2 cents.

I will be sure to check out that doco as soon as I have time it looks interesting. The Melbourne hardstyle scene has turned to absolute shit these days though. Anyone who is still into clubbing knows that. It just seems not enough new kids got into and it has slowly died. Sydney on the other hand is absolutely thriving and there scene is just getting bigger and bigger. They all Gabber or "hakken" up there though, but unlike Melbourne they incorporated that dance from overseas
