MORE than 5kg of suspected 'magic mushrooms' have been seized from four men after police stopped their car in Donnybrook.

Police stopped to search the car on Saturday and confiscated 5kg of mushrooms.

It is likely charges will be laid once tests are carried out to confirm the material as magic mushrooms, or mushrooms that contain the compound psilocybin.

Donnybrook Police have warned anybody thinking of heading into the area to collect magic mushrooms to think again.

Police will be searching people and vehicles suspected of gathering the prohibited fungi.

the donnybrook police dont at this time of year.. thats as far as my knowledge of the Australian legal system on this particular subject goes

Since September 11 they can do what ever they want. All they have to say is that they suspect something was in there, whether that be drugs or terrorism. Or if they had a reason to suspect you of a crime which they will claim regardless.
 
Good to know we've got plenty of rights regarding personal privacy. Thanks I guess, I'm too lethargic/apathetic to look for sourced information at the time being.

hehe have you tried the honey method? get a jar grind up you DRY DRY mushies to a fine powder put the powder in a jar then pour honey over the powder and leave for 2-6 weeks....apprently 1 table spoon of the stuff gets you tripping hard!only problem i've been told with this method is if the shrooms arnt dry enough it causes mold to grow and fucks the whole thing up.....atleast u dont have to down a rank tasting slurry insted you get a yummy spoonful of honey and your tripping bawlls! i miss shrooms they confuse me tho :\
 
Whats the go with the shitty mushrooms taking over my patches, there slightly similair to subs but with light pastely green gills, and green around the rim of the cap.

Heaps of them everywhere, I know there not some kind of psychedelic shroom, but from far away they look like huge patches of subs.

Oh well, enough squiriled away anyways.
 
I made some mushroom chocolate bars just before, simply by melting the chocolate and then adding finely chopped shrooms. I didn't weigh it or anything but added about 4-5 mushrooms to one bar. I thought the chocolate might have been too hot and that it might have degraded the psilocybin...well, 2 bars and 6 hours later and I can definitely say I don't think it did. :D best experience of my life.

Very convenient way to transport and consume the shrooms. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go stare at my reflection in the toilet bowl some more... :D
 
The chocolate doesnt get hot enough to destroy the actives. We used to buy these cool moulds all different ones like half moon/sun with a face, goblin monster ones and even mushroom ones. 4-5g in one and oh boy what a ride haha, it masks the taste very well.
 
Oi few mates aye sayin' there was a bunch of mushies found growing recently here in SE QLD.
Weather's been ripe as motherfuck, kinda, so cow patties been sproutin' em here.

I'm super fucked from my first salvia try, and first time smoking weed in months.
 
I would say the same down here in NZ it's been way to warm the last two weeks. I got 16g dry to last me until next season that's like four HEAVY trips which is a good number ;)
 
How does Spring/Summer go for shroom hunting in SE QLD? I know me and mates had a great summer of shrooming a few years ago before I moved overseas for a bit. That was on the Gold Coast though, I moved up to Brissy now and was wondering what the yield is like here this time of year? I can't imagine the conditions are terribly different an hour up the highway. I know that we got the best yields about a day or two after some rain. Similar deal in Brissy?

It's Cube season. Check out the cow poo and make sure you have permission from the farmer and also the bull before you trek through their paddocks.
