Mushroom Season 2011 UK / Ireland / Anywhere else

Jeeez you big weirds 8) =D

Dry them out (all potential maggots etc. leave the mushroom), grind them into as much a dust as you can do, add some powdered ginger to aid digestion, wrap them in bombs and wash them down with whatever you wish.
My method can be difficult but works like a charm and I've not had any nasty tummy badness since doing so :)
Your stomach acid rather good at killing anything "evil".

Adding them to a boiling liquid is bound to break down the Psilocybin and Psilocin a great deal and be far less potent.
But if you add them to a cup / pot of tea post-boiling and leaving in there for a good 20-30mins is also very enjoyable and comes on quicker ;)

p.s. Fantastically awful video to add there =D Lie back and think of England as an aid to the plugging trade.
 
Good thinking batman, i've never thought to do that with mushrooms.

I've got a 75cl bottle of vodka full of cannabis stems at the moment, i might take half the vodka out of that to start a cannabis/mushroom tincture :8
 
I recommend doing the whole lemon juice in a shot class, followed by pouring it into lukewarm water and making a tea.
 
my method is just to get a few dried mushies and roll them into a tight ball so that its like a little pill and then swallow them with some juice. it takes a while to eat them all but its easy and you dont taste them.

where would you folks rather trip? in a city, or in a forest?
 
thanks for the advice guys. my initial thought was "oh no iv to throw loads of these away!" i knew the maggots would be harmless but i just didnt fancy eating them. I ended up with 3g of dried libs so at least il get somewere. Plus im going out again tomorro to find some more :)

Definitely out in nature :) I don't feel as claustrophobic and being away from "human beings" is always a plus ;)

Said maggots are a high source of protein per weight but if you do dry them out then you'll see them on the drying surface a short while after ;)

Enjoy yourself! I've yet to go hunting. I just hope the yoof ov tuday aren't ripping up the mycelium from under the soil :X
 
ok guys, will leave them out for another night, some are not completely bone dry, will need to go get picking more then, got a good box today and gave my mate them, shouldnt of now :\ but he will enjoy them none the less, he is a very generous lad to me so may aswell be the same! gonna go hoking again tomorrow, really need to get more than a hundred or so by the sounds of it for a good trip

sorry to derail, but... does this actually do anything to get stoned? if so, and i'm presuming you don't just like pointless labour so there must be a reason for it, can you PM me the method?

iirc from some jamie oliver show, the youth of keighley can't recognise a potato. if we apply this to all veg type things, you have nothign to worry about.
 
Yes alcohol is a solvent for THC, and psilocybin/psilocyin!

Soak weed in alc for a long time, and grind it up very small, the stronger the alcohol the better, I can't tell you exact figure but the alcohol becomes saturated quite easily....

Mushies also grind up very fine for best results, or use them wet and blend the whole mixture....be patient waiting for them to filter if you do it that way ;)
 
I lack the patience to even get them out of the field :\

Might go for a look later but its looking pretty dry still..

Dear God I do hope the shroom fairy grants us a good season this year in the South... last year I only got about 100 and I was picking nearly every day.
 
do you ever come across one thats absolutely giant and you just think 'wow theres no way that can be a liberty cap' and then you study it and it definitely is one?
 
went to the same field today and got hundreds! we eventually got bored and just left but im a happy chappy :)
i think im gona stock up for a big trippy halloween session!!!

i found quite a few giants today. we were putting them into an empty boost bottle to be a little less obvious and the caps wouldnt even fit in but they were deff libs :)
 
I await the cold. Then my P.cyanescens patches may fruit. No vile, borderline bitch to steal my harvest around now tooo:D
I should go my lip spot then if ppl are are having luck now .
 
i think ive seen those P.cyanescens around where i live but im not 100% sure if they are. maybe ill take a photo and you could try to identify them for me?
 
Spore printing EVERY mushroom is vital for p.cyanescens. Its has two deadly lookalike, consuming either will be fatal if you are unlucky. Conocybe filaris and Galerina autumnalis (syn. galerina marginata, syn. Galerina venenata syn. Galerin venenata syn.Galerina unicolor)

These two have rusty brown prints, and are LETHALLY TOXIC, both species look similar to an un-trained eye, and pack a shitload of amatoxins, which are slow-acting hepatotoxins, real nasty buggers amatoxins are, so, learn to recognise them, and print every shroom you pick,if you go for the winter harvest that the wavy caps promise. Both grow on wood, I have seen C.filaris growing on the same bed of woodchips, side by side as P.cyanescens, and once, a rust brown print turned up on the foil sheet the mushrooms were drying on. That saved my life, printing them. I instantly identified the guilty shroom removed it, and its spores from the foil sheet.

My psychobitch former housemate stole my last dose of shrooms, even after I taught her the ways of the woods and the defining characteristics of this particular mushroom and its vile impostors....and as luck would have it...also dissappearing, was a dried mushroom in a bottle....but it wasn't a Psilocybe...stupid, greedy bitch seems to have stolen a certain rust-brown spored LBM in a bottle also=D

I will look at yout shroom photos sure, but print them. I cannot say to you 'this is a magic shroom, eat it', but I can help you ID them. Psilocybe species all have a purple-blackish print. The lethal lookalikes of P.cyanescens both have rust brown prints. Learn to recognise Galerina species (its a taxonomically complex genus, but there is no excuse for lax behaviour here) and learn to recognise C.filaris also.
 
what is the best way to crush/chop/grind/blend dried mushrooms i border to maximise potency for adding to a fruit juice?
