Mushroom season 2010

Gotta second Psilo's advice there Stoner Witch, I gave myself HPPD and made myself pretty much bat shit crazy for a good 6 months as a result of consuming shrooms near daily.
 
This dry spell is taking it's toll on Melbourne. Many patches I have been photographing have dried right up.

Also got some rabid hunters that have destroyed one of the patches I took pictures of recently. Only took them two weeks to stop all fruiting... real shame. Not good pics to share this weekend people, really sorry.
 
Went Pickin last weekend with a couple of mates... great harvest. location secret ssshhh... few pics here, there was another 1/2 of what is spread out on the floor there also. so yes alot of beautiful fungi...

the 1st pic is just some evil lookin badass thing that was sending off bad vibes, photo time...


Photos of amounts that are more that a personal possession quantity, or of dried mushrooms, are not allowed. Those not complying with guidelines have been removed; p_d.

thankfully the lack of rain hasn't effected my patches, in fact they have been out in record numbers over the last few weeks and doesn't show any sign of slowing down. it really goes to show how sustainable picking over the last few years has really payed off..
 
No rain but lucky the early morning condensation is enough keep the fruits baring! Best season in 4 years IMO.

my bro in law lives down there, but will not go pickin unless iam with him, for id purposes.
there is a logic in that. esp seeings every single shroom he has picked to show me in 6 years has been a non-active.
next winter. im coming down there.

its nice to know i have a community of friends out there that care.

bloody thing got adjourned until june 01.

going on the guy that got sentenced before me, i may be ok.

you wouldnt believe how appreciative i am of the esponse from you guiys.
it means a lot.
court day really takes it out of me.
the stress, anxiety etc.
i seem to crawl into a shell for a few days afterwards.
however. next tuesday, i will be online strait away. might even post a little thread about it for all concerned.
then, if neccesary, mods could remove it after a fortnight or so, once it was old news.
i do think my story has a relevance for us all at bl tho.
regardless of which 'poison' is our choice, we are all 'outlaws', if we indulge in these illegal chemicals. and, because we dont often think or hear about getting busted, particularly for funky fungus, it is too easy to think it wont happen. and all to easy to remain ignorant of the potential incarceration or punishment if we are busted.
thats my experience in a nutshell.
20 years of use with no probs and then this.
anyway. thanx again. everybody.

if, i do get a term, my wife said she will come on bl as, the mrs psynapsurfer, to let y'all know!!

Yeah 3 patches I know of have been fine with the lack of rain, the rain today have got lots of new subs popping up, one of my patches was really starting to dry out but it looks a lot better now.


Good luck with the case psynapsurfa I hope it goes your way mate.
 
Shrooms I found in the weekend - Lower Hutt, NZ

*theyre everywhere here atm, the last 3 weeks being excellent, have been going to same patch every 2 - 3 days LMAO where the patches are, in full view of the public, imagine dodgy guy with a maccas paperbag walking around a traffic island bark garden!
LOL there were spore prints all over the newspaper, save them bits!!



edit: actually this year has been the best for nz shrooms ever!! I think its the weather - wellington/hutt valley has similar weather to melbourne (im originally from melb so kinda know what im talking about). Also I just leave on paper to dry or clean then add warmed honey to a jar of them, within 2 days the jar is blackish blue/spread that stuff on toast my friend or just take a tablespoon full lol just tastes like honey then ;)

^^Nice finds! I had a geez 'round Queenstown last year when I went boarding and had no luck:( Any idea if they grow that far down?
