Cool Thread

I'm further north and sometimes forget that our "off season" is the Southerners "On Season" ... no wonder I often get the urge to travel south for Winter even tho it's bloody cold lol
I'm not very familiar with the Subs at all but I know the Cubes pretty well ... the Subs are said to be more potent ... this seems undisputed so I'll take that as fact for now ... from my limited experience I'd say they were different , possibly more potent but hard to tell as it was ... well , so different a trip to what I have been used to. I honestly don't think it was potency issue , but then I'm one to prefer to consume the shrooms as close to where they and I were found , to the extent of camping overnight in the same paddock) ... but that's just me , "imported" shrooms always act differently on me just as I'm sure I would impact on the shooms importing myself to them.

It's like a dual Life-Support system of sorts ... haha but there were some nice musings on that type of theory earlier in the thread so I'll leave it at that. (McKenna=Legend)
So given there are no subs up here (maybe) ... all I can do is 'perv' here for the mean time (Plz not so big pics on the page , owch!) ... I'm yet to read previous years threads but I suppose this one will continue on until the eventuation of the warm season shrooms up here , awesome.
About the Q&A above on the Blueing ... from my studies a while back I found that there was indeed one other poisonous shroom that when picked stained blue and could be possibly be mistaken for the psychoactive type ... I was pretty sure they weren't even an inhabitant of this country so I pretty much used the staining blue identification for one of the top 3 things to look for (besides knowing what they look like) if not the top thing , not everyones got a microscope handy afterall.
If someone could correct me on this or even better point me in the way of a prominent citation I would be eternally grateful ofc. %)
And I have a question someone here may be able to answer ...
How far north can Subs exist? ... Actually or theoretically are both good.
I'm starting to think that many of the ones I've passed up in the past could possibly have been subs ... they stained but because of the colour of the stem the stain was more inky black (like blue bic biro spill) ... so I never trusted them and could never identify 100% with all the Books and Erowid in the world

... I have taken younger fatter ones from up here tho that look like the classic Sub youngin , very bronzed brown cap , near white stem , In woodier mulch than usual , still cow poo tho I reckon.
But anyway , I think there are many many sub-species and always have thought so ... There are different types of Cubensis , of this I'm certain , all pretty much the same effects but differing greatly in size , stature and shape (and potency) ... even in the same paddocks.
Just to clarify , what I refer to above was in the cooler months , Nth NSW ... Cyans seemed to last into the cold alot longer than the Cubes although I saw a few cubes pop up just down the hill the other day , I left them , they were strong ones :D The Season Is well and truly over here and has been for the best part of a month I'd say ... winter will pass fairly quickly tho and by mid-spring they should be charging yet again. Hoorah.
LOL ... new south park ... anyhoo , better finish up. Great thread guyz , happy hunting
Cheers.
