Mushroom season 2009

Nothing in that article is very surprising, subs often grow in schools and universities because of the woodchipped garden beds and there will always be a few people in the know who seize the oppurtunity to make some money.
 
Soooo, shouldn't this be thread be rename/split to the 2010 mushroom season?

Anyway I will be heading out to the Brindabellas very soon, probably after easter, to have a look. Im thinking early morning to avoid police etc.
 
The 2010 thread will start soon enough, but its not really in season yet, give it another month i say, that way the thread won't be so slow moving at the start =D
 
^ It could be started halfway through April depending on the weather, but May is a safe bet if you want to be sure. I say that the 2010 thread should be started by the first person who can post up some findings. Obviously not counting heythatsmybike's extremely early finding that he posted in this thread already (good find btw mate ;)) and no ID requests as that isn't allowed on BL.
 
I second that notion, provided its a decent finding, if someone happens to get just a couple odds of the season being kicking are slim.

As I only joined this site a few months ago, I don't really know wat to expect through the mushie thread? Do we talk about wonderful times we had on them and what not? Because story time is something that I very much enjoy when it comes to my beloved shroomz =D
 
^ Some discussion of trips is usually ok but there is a trip report forum for more detailed stories. I guess its mostly about findings and advising newbies on how much to dose etc. There are a lot of people who request mushroom IDs but that isn't allowed on bluelight so we always refer the mto shroomery.org.
 
Yeh good ol shroomery, big fan of that site too.
Next time I have an amazing trip I'll be sure to let everyone know.

Lately so much bluelight has been bad news, people being busted, mdma crisis threads constantly being opened. I say we need some shroom stories to lift all the spirits.

But as always Party safe =D
 
what would be a good starter dose.. The strain i have is "quila" thats all i know. (home grown)

Ive broken through on dmt, salvia, done lsd about 5 times.. Would like something not too intense but not a tease also..

Even though u've stated it a few times Sust that acid is way more intense, with the people I know, acid has been far more intense.

I'd just get a few friends around all eat a few, maybe 2 or 3 each to start off, and if ure feeling nothing within an hour eat another 2, but u should start to feel affects start to come on in about 40mins, 60 to play it safe.

If you take a photo of it post it on www.shroomery.org and they can give more detailed advice. Have fun shrooming my friend.
 
I'm closing this thread as it's no longer relevant. When it's required, someone can start a thread for this year, but keep discussion on the topic i.e. the when, how and why of mushrooms in 2010
