Customs will seize spore syringes.

You will have better chances with spore prints for microscopy.

Also, bluelight is harm reduction not a how-to site.

Use google. There is even videos on youtube on how to grow mushrooms of all types.

Thats why I first thing I said was I don't suggest the idea.
Just stating that it's exactly what a friend did just a few weeks ago.

i was under the impression that the legal loophole used concerning spores importation is that the spores themselves are not illegal. most countries the shrooms and active ingredient are, but not the spores.
with that in mind it should be easy to import them. but i am no expert in this, and have never heard it being done. am rather curious tho.

Nah man, you'll get busted if you try to import them and customs find them.

there you go folks, these things spread easily, the spore survives in our stomach, as well as cows!!! if that is really what happens with the cubes!! heard so many things.. who cares ..

thats real cool. so we all should collect spores and spread them........ =D

Go mofo, Mushie season starts NOW! :P

I know a good spot in melb, but the best spot in bendigo. Best be doing a trip up that way start of Easter holidays ;)

haha i guess, wanna start the 2010 thread then??, when i was in melb i had no issues finding them, every park and every median strip was always gold

We've had an ABSOLUTE DICKLOAD of rain here in south queensland this week, and as far as I know the cowdung mushies prefer the warmer months. Anyone think it would be worth heading out for a look?

I've never gone for a proper hunt, but two weeks ago a found a very tiny patch out on my father in laws cattle property, so my hopes are up.

no such thing as a proper hunt, i usually do an hr or 2 with the dog, but since she has passed on, i just do the rounds of the wood chips around the local parks and shops, anytime before noon is cool, as the sun tends to fuck them up..

just keep an eye on patches and take care of them, i had an awesome patch once in an old cattle field used to leave a 10ltr water drum on drip overnight to fatten them up :), but now that field is a housing estate..:(

Yes dude!

Wait for a little bit of sunshine and then get out there! I've been scoring good finds of cubes all week in local cow paddocks.

verybuffed, I dunno where your from but I am hailing from Melbourne. If you grew mushrooms down here you would be nothing short of CRAZY! For starters you can't even grow psilocybe subaeruginosa indoors and it is far more potent than psilocybe cubensis, the mushroom generally commercially cultivated.

Down in Melbourne when season is in full swing, magic mushrooms are literally like a weed, you can't take two steps without stumbling on another spot. Once you learn where to look and what to look for you are talking about a fucking goldmine. Any dedicated picker could easily get more mushrooms than they know what to do with without putting in too much effort, certainly a lot less than all the bullshit sterilisation to grow shitty cubes.

My advice to anyone who wants shrooms is to hit shroomery.org and learn, thats how I learnt and I have picked thousands of shrooms and not a bad one yet, it isn't hard if you aren't a dumbass.

I will say, personally I don't like shrooms anymore, done 'em too much and just feel too ill these days. I will arn you that shrooms, especially in a tea can KICK YOUR ASS. So be careful. Frankly it is a much more nauseating and disorienting comeup than acid and if you had the choice I would reccomend experience with acid first.

I feel like I have to say, every single fucking year people post up pics and want a mushroom ID, we don't do that on bluelight. Shroomery does mushrooms ID's so take that shit over there, it isn't alot of effort and honestly this thread is only here as a token discussion and a findings posting thread. If you are serious about shrooming get your ass over to shroomery as thats what its there for.

Hopefully this season pans out a little better than last, which wasn't terrible but far from fantastic. Although I don't trip anymore I will be out there in the shitty weather picking away. ;) Who knows, might run into some of you in the field. Happy shroomin'.

Yeah I meant growing cubes indoors

Why do you find it so hard?

North East NSW here - for the last 2 months I've been finding nice Pan Cyans and Cubes in local cattle pastures, so my advice would be to get out there now. We've had heaps of rain here this week, and I will definately be checking my favourite spots this weekend, there should be a nice bag to be collected :)

I went hunting today in south east queensland in the cow paddocks after a lovely bout of rain.

I know this isnt an identifying thread, but we basically found a shit ton of white mushies with browny/gold tops (cubensis, but ill get them identified nonetheless). The others were darker blue/white tops with thin dark stems. I dont trust these as much, but seeing as ive never done it before, maybe my distrust is unjust ;)

Basically, has anyone in QLD ever had these before? Just looking for some reassurance :)
