next time perhaps try constructing one with flywire or more closely meshed chickenwire!
i've experiemented with desicant chambers, and i've found that simply air drying them in a dry, dark, cupboard with limited airflow works just as well. i simply cut the stems of at the cap, lay them out on newspaper, and let them dry. this method also doubles as a quick and easy spore print for the whole batch. only hassle is removing the first bed of paper and replacing it after a day or so.
its unbelievable how the season is peaking right now. i live in the middle/inner eastern suburbs of Melb. and i can't walk down the street without finding little patches!
