Anyone get this specically after eating Asian cuisine in restaurants, or take-away? Every single time I go to a chinese restaurant and order the buffet (which is huge), I struggle even getting up because I am so full and tired and I seriously feel like I have had a huge dose of benzodiazapines. It seems to have the same effect on other people too, and a common line upon paying the bill and exiting the restaurant is, "damn, I feel like I could roll home".
By the time we get home, I usually fall asleep in front of the T.V. and constantly wake up throughout the night, getting up to drink soft-drink and water, because my thoat is so dry.
What do you think is causing this? Would it be the MSG in the food? I know it's not the spices, because when I eat chinese I don't really order any chilli/spicey dishes. So, what gives?
Cheers.
