Just a thought... is it kind of weird that leaders of this forum are so strictly adhering to certain guidelines, when they can't even adhere to the guidelines of the countries they are in?
I saw nothing wrong with the comments highlighted here (that I saw). It is almost as if someone just got tired of him, for previous things. And he pulled another sensitive string, or something.
In my recent post regarding some stupid mother fucking Taliban-dudes deserving each of nukes up their ass shot out to space boom (this is arguable) shooting a girl who just wanted education/equal opportunity for women, quite a few people came in with anti-muslim comments, and that's not at all what I intended. And I doubt they had infractions for being insensitive/anti-Islam!
He may have been wrong if he said-generally that even moderate Muslims are calling for death to the guy who made the video and blaming America, but he was referring to specific people, who happened to be "moderate" Muslims, as far as I could tell. Although his intention might have been to highlight that, well, as a religious grouping "they" are kind of prone to being scary at this stage (which is kind of true/undeniable that that "place" is and has been unstable for a long time), but he wasn't saying they were all like that, or anything directly. I don't know, really. I don't.
But it's just like here, where I live, most crimes are committed by blacks (as most recent highlighted intentional violence seems to be committed by so-called Muslims). I have issues (struggle, I mean) with "them" (only sometimes, in my mind, never hardly with them- directly, at all, although I have only ever been robbed by black guys since I have lived here- that I have been aware of... but just every day people no) because for one example, they don't let me (a white person) call them "them", yet they can happily have a TV station called "Bounce" that's all about "black people", and is "TV"... "Our way!", separating themselves. I just don't get it. Or- really, I don't get how to navigate with it. All I can do is say, "okay... hopefully some day they won't need to be like this." I don't know what I'm trying to say. It's murky. It's hard to navigate this stuff, when people separate themselves from others by any means. Denying these issues doesn't help anything- perhaps not. There's also an Indiana Black Expo that occurs yearly- here, and there is a lot of time violence/intended death around them. When will those end? When can they accept us all as just people? I don't see an Indiana White Expo... but I guess all you have to do is go out to all of the cornfields around this city. But they aren't calling themselves white. They're German-English-Irish-Scottish-Norwegian etc Americans. And they don't even identify that way a lot of times. I don't even-myself identify as white. I'm me. Pink/creme colored with dark hair with red tints, and brown eyes that are green with yellow, amber, brown... that happens to have stock around Europe, and further down the line, probably around Africa- somewhere.
But I guess as the majority- or once (now receding in ways) majority, "we" can have the luxury of not having to belong... Because we already do. I do understand... it's just a pity that it can be this difficult.
Truth be told "Muslims" as we are provided examples of (and Christians years ago and many now) are rather crazy, by and large. But there are plenty who are not, and who try to navigate- and do very well. Some just follow, though, and that's where it's dangerous. Hell, most religious people are crazy in some sense or another. I mean Jesus told us to gouge our eye out and cut our hand off if it caused us to sin. I hope nobody assigns cause to their eye or hand, though (and stops there). Perhaps he meant something else. But maybe in some fucked up sense, he was right. Better than going to hell, I guess... but how many "Christians" do you see running around with one eye, and one hand?
People suck in ways.
I will shut my mouth now. It's easy to lump it all together, and get screwed up.
I just wish we'd all take the best from the past and move forward.
Oh- I do imagine he, the subject of this thread, was struggling with things as I do, because the examples of "moderates" provided to him were voicing themselves like this, and he wanted to believe otherwise-
but these were his examples, which can present themselves awfully strong. Struggling is better than a lot of things. I don't think he deserved a ban like a pothead deserves rape in jail, because a fucking book says so (not necessarily about rape, but jail). But anyways. Again- I haven't seen his history, just the current example.
Now I'll shut it.
