ET - Scared me too death for about 3 years when i was 5 years old. I seriously to this day cannot watch it because it scarred me so badly. Family friendly? What a load of crap.

Turtles can fly - An Iranian film about children who live in a war torn country and what they do to get by. So incredible, every moment of this film had me crying and secretly trying to convince myself that stuff like this doesnt happen.
