Movies and Drugs[MEGA MERGED]

well depends...one of my favorite movies to watch sober and...not so sober is (well it's actually a doc) cocaine cowboys...it's just the american dream...fuck it very nicely done
when i'm not so sober i love conspiration....mind blowing movies/documentaries...and if that's the case nothings more mind blowing than Zeitgeist. I mean sure there's fahrenheit 9/11 and sicko...but zeitgeist just wines the cake...i loved it from the first time i saw it and it's def the best to me
drugs movies...well of course i love trainspotting and blow...there masterpieces...human traffic too it's pretty realistic and funny, fear and loathin...well c'mon who doesn't like fear and loathin..
and if it's about drug drama or stuff like that i know most ppl love requiem for a dream(i personally despise it from thew bottom of my nodding heart) but imho Gia(the story of a model in the 80' who dies from aids) is so much more realistic and interesting to wantch + i always loved movies based on real stories.
oh and if u're not afraid of the drama human trafficking is pretty harsh but extremely realistic...

koyaanisqatsi and the others in that trilogy (i think it's a trilogy, maybe a series now)
fear and loathing of course
ghost dog
the life aquatic
the unbearable lightness of being
really any good movie that's visually arresting and has some emotional force behind it. i hate gory ones though, especially when i'm tripping/high.

The Departed- Dude just glances at an Oxycontin prescription then downs a fuckload....Laughed my shit crazy in theaters while I'm sure the other moviegoers were a bit turned off as Im just cracking up and saying "Fuck yea man, he just took what I took a few mins ago...Fuck yea!"

if your into anime Paprika and FLCL are great

I just saw Paprika for the first time last week, it was fucking excellent.

The original Fantasia was so intense while tripping on acid, I had to keep leaving the room. I swear that fucking narrator in a suit is just talking gibberish, but I was laughing way too hard to confirm this.

Also, I just about pissed my pants when I saw the racist mushrooms.

I really enjoyed the movie "Liquid Sky." Aside from the compelling story, there are lotsa good-looking women and men in this flick (something for straights and gays). In fact, one of the actors plays a gay male model in the film.

Please don't confuse this movie with Tom Cruise's film "Vanilla Sky," which I didn't like much. Anyway, "Liquid Sky" has a completely original storyline.

The film is very hard to find, not even offered at NetFlix. I first saw it around 1986 inside a university auditorium, and was transfixed by the 2 extraordinarily beautiful women in this drug film.

And, again, the story is completely original.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

I'm pretty sure you have all seen this movie, but what psychedelics have you watched it on? I'm about to watch it on some k. I'm hyped!!!

It seems with this movie you can watch it a hundred times and each time you learn something new. A real master piece.

I watched it on LSD one year late after the ball dropped new years morning.

I've also been to the Circus Circus and the Flamingo in Vegas. I really dig the Flamingo. There are real flamingos and all sorts of birds in the middle of the place, frolicking in the water.
