Most unusual/uncommon drug

hmm don't know any other uncommon drugs....ahh god i want some fentanyl or oxymorphone

and bud marley you're a fuckin moron....your series of posts should go into some fuckin bl hall of stupidity....i'm not sure if swybs mentioned this or not but why the hell did you mention freon in the first place? doesn't seem rare to me....

An almost unheard of drug in the west is Fenethylline, whereas it is pretty common in the Middle East (where Amphetamine is almost unheard of).

Fenethylline is actually metabolized into Amphetamine inside the body. Still, it has an interesting structure, and I wonder if the drug itself has effects rather than simply its Amphetamine metabolite.

Another very rare drug is Desoxyn, it is prescription Methamphetamine for the few out there who don't know. That is defintely the most powerful stimulant you can get prescribed.

The most unusual for me was DXM, not real uncommon but the effects for me were just freakin weird, and lasted incredibly long.

The most unusual drugs i've taken ;

bentazepam

adrafinil

ketobemidone (not that unusual here in scandinavia though)

fresh kratom (in Thailand).

DMZ is indeed fictitious--I believe the author was describing the mindfuck phenomenology of DMT, if it lasted several hours/days and perhaps forever. That book--Infinite Jest--is itself a mindfuck. It is a wonderfully complex and ambiguous stream-of-consciousness narrative akin to 'Naked Lunch' (which I've read 4 times but still don't fully understand) and 'Gravity's Rainbow'.

But I digress. I think that the compound that would be most interesting to taste and to study would be 4-methylaminorex. The US and UK were way too hasty in 'emergency' scheduling this one--it might have excellent (and powerful) psychostimulant properties, with less neurotoxic liability than the amphetamines.

Dexedrine, were commonly called (US.) dexies, right? They were also known as "pink hearts." In the days they were called "mother's little helpers," they were really widely dispensed.

In the early 1980's, while visiting some family friends, I used their bathroom and just because I could, checked out the medicine cabinet. In the back of all these current medications was this dusty bottle. Dated for expiration in the year 1969, an almost full bottle (53 pills) of "pink hearts." That name comes from their shape. I thinK it was 5 sides. Although they were a bit old, eating 4 or 5 , hey they still kicked.

Dexedrine? Having tried both Dex. and Black Beauties, I have to vote for the BB. In there wide-distribution days I think I might still have been building super highways in my sand box, but I did get to try them in their final runs.

SO, HERE IS A QUESTION:

I would like to know what might be the order of the strength and quality of the "tweak-factor," in current available perscribed amphetamines for ADHD/ADD.

I'm , currently in a rather unique situation. My doctor has permitted the liberty of each month trying a different medication for ADHD, so I can find the "right" one.

Let's face it, no doctor is going to let me try every one there is. I figure he'll pull back the offer after three.

I've had Ritaline for years. Then reading from posts on this site, I learned about Adderal. It is because of the use of Adderal, this month, that I certainly see absolutely no comparison, as posted by "JT Marlin" between Black Beauties and Adderal.

Two BB: clean, top of the tweak, two-day ride!! Excellent!
20mg Adderal: Eat 2, 3 more! ---------- Finally after reading the post of eating 100mg Adderal, Yea, that was OK! It became exceptional mixed with one juicey lung-filled hit of smoking meth, then the Adderal extended the length of the meth.

I do not think the Adderal is worth the cost. 20 10mg pills = $32
20 Ritaline = $14.00

I have just read that Dexedrine is still used to treat ADHD. I certainly need and could use additional thoughts, but I think that what ever gets chosen next could be my last ok'd selection.

My long time (20 yrs of use +) friends seemed to say they like the Ritaline best. Each got 20mg of each. They use a half gram of meth or more per day.

Oh, yea, I'm in the United States where the cops are the good guys and EVERYBODY ELSE IS A BADGUY!

I'm in the US too, why else would I have a Johnny Cash icon? Yes, Dexedrine is also called "Dexies". Hearts can either be Red if they are Benzedrine (amphetamine sulphate), Green if they're Dexamyl (Dexedrine and Amobarbital, a barbiturate...I dream for a bottle of these), or orange means it's Dexedrine.
I never figured the different salts in Adderall made that much of a difference. Beauties came in 12.5 and 20mg caps, non-time released I assume, of d-amphetamine sulphate and amphetamine sulphate)

The best ADHD meds, and only amphetamine pills that survived the 1970's, are (in order):
--Desoxyn (Methamphetamine Hydrochloride...yes the devil meth can be used legally) comes in 5mg tablets...10 and 15mg Gradumet time released pills were taken off the market in 1999.
--Dexedrine (d-amphetamine sulphate) is next in 5mg orange shield-shaped tablets and 5, 10, and 15mg "Spansule" capsules, which are the first sustained-release medication ever created (in 1952 after 7 yeras of development). Also very easy to defeat the sustained release.
--Adderall (salts of amphetamine aspartate, amphetamine sulfate, dextroamphetamine saccharate, and dextroamphetamine sulfate, the ratio of d-amphetamine to l-amphetamine is 3:1) is third and comes in 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15,20,25, and 30 mg tablets and XR extended release...but the different salts make even tablets sustained release, due to the different salts, while the XR last too fricken long.
--Focalin (d-methylphenidate) is (Ritalin) without the side effects and twice as potent and comes in 5 and 10mg tablets
--Ritalin (dl-methylphenidate) is about the lowest as far as potency goes. It comes in 5, 10, and 20mg tablets, 10 and 20mg Extended release tablets, and 20, 30, and 40 mg tablets.
--Concerta is time-release Ritalin that's not even worth fucking with, it comes in 18, 36, and 54mg freakish pills that use plastic, a sponge, and a gelatin coating. Taking too many will make you have to shit really bad.
-- In dead last is Straterra. which I could care less about.

You can mention Desoxyn to your doctor, just say "I read an article about ADHD, and it mentioned Desoxyn as a medication...I've never heard of it." Once he looks it up and says that's it is closely related to Adderall and Dexedrine, tell him that if Adderall is working good maybe it'd work even better. Or Mention Dexedrine instead, since Desoxyn is rarely prescribed. I could have gotten it from my doctor, he told me "I've know anyone who has prescribed it before, I guess it's just like Dexedrine."

I find Concerta to be fun. I caxn chew a 36 mg pill and get pleasantly speedy for several hours. I've experimented with doses up to 162 milligrams (that was an accident) and I've found that if you chew one pill, and then swallow another whole, you get the initial speedy 'rush' with a sustained energy increase from the second pill's time release.

I would certainly never recommend asking for Desoxyn for AD(H)D. Asking a question like this will, IMO, only raise unwanted suspicion, as I think it's only ever used for morbidly obese patients.

Yeah, but we know what Desoxyn is. Most doctors don't know much about every drug out there, and assume we know less than them. It's not about telling them what you want, but getting them to tell you it might help. If you walk into a psychiatrist's office the first visit and say you heard Desoxyn helps with ADHD and you want to try it, of course they'll be suspicious. It IS a drug approved by the FDA for use in ADHD, no different than Adderall legally...and they hand that shit out in huge doses. The government can't legally do anything at all to a doctor who prescribes 20mg/day of Desoxyn to one patient he has. My psych. was very good, even he never heard of the stuff, said "it's probably just closer to Dexedrine than Adderall." Besides, the max dosage is 25mg/day...nothing compared to the 55mg/day of Dexedrine that doctor prescribed me. I didn't want Desoxyn anyways, I fucking hate meth...in any form. It's also a bitch to find in pharmacies I'm sure since they'd have to order it every month. A new company recently acquired Desoxyn from Abbott Pharma, and plan on marketing it more now.

Captagon it used to be called. It's nothing special - real amphetamine is better, not to mention the now very seldom seen phenmetrazine...

In the days they were called "mother's little helpers," they were really widely dispensed.

A point of clarification, "Mothers little helpers" typically refers to benzos, typically valium. And while it's use as a drug for treating ADD has become rarer, i still do have a big bottle of the stuff sitting on my desk with my name on it. Personally, i find it to be the best drug for treating ADD, methylphenidate causes me to become irrational and moody, and adderall simply doesn't work as well as dexadrine (you feel less focused on it, more drugged)

Personally, i haven't had exposure to many rare and exotic drugs. I've tried ProSom a handful of times, but otherwise, rarer drugs have elluded me

Oxymorphone

Oxycontin 160mgs.. (ive never seen 1 of these in real life)

Fentanyl (never had the chance to try this, id especially like to try the lollys)

Opium (rarely see the real thing)

Black Beauties (i remember when i first started using pills in 9th grade how my teacher was talking about these and how they were commonly abused by housewives who were plagued with boring lives)

Mother's Little Helper is a song by the Rolling Stones...about yellow 5mg Valium. Pink hearts were Benzedrine, orange were Dexedrine, and green were Dexamyl. Valium is one of many mother's little helpers...Dexamyl was MARKETED as one.

4-mar isnt that rare......

I would say diconal is pretty rare (which is cyclizine and dipipanone), i have only been able to buy the tablets a few times, from the the middle east. Diconal was once common in the UK and acheived near cult like status amoung some hardcore users, some who would only shoot diconal tablets. The rush is definately quite unique. It became such a problem that it became schedule I in the UK, and now is very hard to find. Another enjoyable yet difficult to obtain drug is ketogan, which is in the methadone (phenylheptanone) family, but provides a much better rush when IVed, and is very euphoric.

Some less rare but stil difficult to obtain substances would be things like levorphanol, alpha-methylfentanyl and some less common analogues......
