Most unaccepted drug to use among other drug users

Needles do remain in the gray area.. the only people I know who shoot sadly have fucked up their lives pretty well. Others see this as a reflection of what this hard drug use lifestyle can do, so its not always easy to watch.
 
I cooked up some jenkem the other day and tried to turn my friends on to it. They're not my friends anymore.
 
After 10 years of poly-drug abuse i'm starting to dislike drugs in general. But i'd say the most unaccepted are nearly every drug but weed with most users in general. Or at least more taboo and a bit of an unspoken thing. Overall though I receive the most concern when I mention; Heroin, Crack, Cocaine, PCP, and Acid.

Yep.

I had your attitude for years, then I realized it's no big deal. For me, anyway. I'm not a big narcotics guy.
 
Snorting and IV injecting substances are unhealthy when done frequently, as if addicted, but some would say smoking anything is not acceptable since it exposes others to it second hand.

Back to topic.... I find that meth is really unacceptable where I live... I told a few of my friends that I shoot up meth, they looked at me like I was a ghost. Crack isn't really a problem around here... theres a lot of 'em.
 
It's funny, as I've gotten more involved in the drug using sub-culture, my list of 'bad' drugs has shrunk. Now, the only drugs I'm really still freaked out by are crack and pcp. Interestingly, these are both stereotypically 'ghetto' drugs, which points to some deep seated snobbery on my part.
 
Crack, heroin and meth for my circle of friends. IV use certainly as well. Nobody knows meth though, except from tv, propaganda documentaries about meth in the U.S., there is no meth where I live, which I'm happy with.

Um, probably crack holds the title for most looked-down upon. It's become a cultural joke: "You crackhead," "what are you, on crack?" when anybody does something stupid. But meth runs a close second. I euphemize it by calling it speed or crystal when discussing my use with drug virgins because meth just sounds so... dirty. There's definitely a stigma attached.
Heroin is certainly in the mix, but it somehow retains a shred of glamor that saves it from being ridiculed (maybe the calvin klein heroin chic ads of yesteryear?) People are just scared/horrified by it, but not usually disgusted. I would rather admit having a heroin problem over a crack problem any day of the week. And that's my cheap two cents.

shootin up is just another way of gettin high, yea it hits alot faster but you're still doin the fuckin drug!
swallowin, snortin, shootin all the same drug how can you argue? But ya ppl still do
 
Heroin is so looked down upon here I wouldn't expect to speak to anyone I know at the moment again if I ever tried it.

Crack is not so bad - It's still under the "I'd never try it" category for most people but I know a few people that have tried it.

After that it's Benzos. (Blues) mostly because Heroin addicts use them to ease the comedown.

Meth has not been demonized at all here (UK) - not one of my friends knows what it is. If Meth ever hits the UK like it did the west-coast US, we'll be fucked - as all the stupid kids will have no problem taking it.

^But injecting a drug seems alot more self-destructive. Smoking/snorting may cause harm to your body but in my eyes injecting is like cutting yourself. Cutting yourself is not cool IMO. I understand it's just another method of administration but it causes noticeable physical harm to your body. If i smoke or sniff some people would never know you do drugs. Injecting leaves scars, marks, and so on.
 
^ Injected drugs are also more addicting than their smoked/snorted counterparts.
 
Certainly liquid heroin here that's said on English wikipedia to have disappeared which is really wrong. This is exclusively i.v.'ed of course.

You're the man if you get your hands on cocaine because it's expensive and harder to get.
