Most unaccepted drug to use among other drug users

i agree with ya in the pseudo-mysticism of mckenna wannabes, freakin' hallucinogens disavow the symbolic order, not enhance it. Stirring up negativity?

I meant it in a more trivial/everyday context, i.e. stirring up negativity tends to result in social clashes which diminish the fun factor of posting on web forums :). So I don't usually go waving my view on psychedelics around unless there's a reason.
 
meth and heroin are pretty much taboo among me and mine. I would say crack, but too many of my friends do powder cocaine, and making a distiction between the 2 should never have been done IMHO. Too many people take that distiction and think "well, at least I'm only snorting coke and not smoking crack". That's the wrong way to think. I wish I could add ghb to the list, but that garbage has slithered it's way into my area as well
 
Kids trippin' on acid, or E, or whatever that your hanging out with find it unacceptable to haul out like a dilaudid 8 or oxy 80 when they're all sittin there bein' lovey lovey.
 
Now that I think about it.

I'm one of the most hardcore WHILE still being educated about drugs out of my friends.

Like, I'll do just about anything, but of course I'm not going to snort a whole Vial of K in one bump then go drive to the club, or do EXCESSIVE amounts of drugs (like they do).

But, out of all my friends, it's always been me that's said "yea I'd shoot that if I knew how". As I said earlier, my friends would just want to watch, and once I did it, they'd do it. Even though I'm not the "leader" of the group, they all look to me to know how to do drugs, how much to do, what they'll do, etc. I'm basically the parent, when it comes to drugs. If they see me do it, and I end up fine, and hear me bragging about how great it was - they'd be next to do it. And most likely they would end up doing 1/2 or 2/3s of the dose I did, almost like "well, I'm not gonna OD on this amount, because he did more and hes perfectly fine." Come to think of it, if it wasn't for my knowledge about drugs, they most likely wouldn't have ended up trying certain drugs, because they wouldn't trust anyone else's word unless it was mine - cuz they KNOW i do my research.
 
Meth isn't an issue in Philly. It's seen as a white trash drug from the mid/west.
As far as people out of the drug scene are concerned, all hard drugs are taboo. Except scripted drugs of course.
Personally I find hardcore addicts unacceptable. Especially stimulant addicts and serious potheads.
:( Just because a person choses to IV their drug of choice dosen't make them a bad person.

:) I know of IV users who have families, hold down respectable jobs & are good up standing respectible people who help within the community.

:( Not all Meth users are seen as white trash & not all hardcore addicts are or should be treated as unacceptable.

:( I feel that there are a lot of legal scripted drugs that are far worse than some of the more illegal drugs.

I think there would be a lot of people who would say alcohol could also be another drug which many people find most unacceptable.:p

Depends who I'm hanging out with, really... If I'm chilling with my opiate, buddies, then meth is the devil. With my speeding buddies, heroin is the devil.

It's all about who you're chilling with...

To me, all drugs are acceptable to use for the most part.. as long as it's responsible use. (Although personally, I refuse to drink alcohol, use deliriants, or inhalants (not including n2o).)
 
Around here meth is the #1 no-no. This is mostly because most of the people I hang out with have history with it and don't ever want be around it/tweakers. Anything with needles (cept ketamine) also gets a pretty bad rap, as do the lesser inhalents (huffing).

Rofl, yeah...I was IVing coke in my apartment bedroom one evening while a gaggle of sophmores/juniors from my college were all drinking/smoking pot with my room-mates in the living room. I apparently shocked and disturbed several of them when my room-mate told them my bedroom was the only place they could smoke a cig inside the apartment (which was true). Three kids walked in on me just after I had registered with a tourney in my mouth and I wasn't about to pull out for them. Pulled off the tie with my mouth, dropped my shot and told them to get the fuck out as the train hit me. Never saw them in my apartment again...

My friends are the same way. Every drug is worth trying but needles are out of the question.

Also crack-cocaine. One guy I know was really deep into sold all his shit and everything for it. Ive done it about 10 times and seriously think its the most retarded shit ever. Sure the rush is amazing but the comedown is so bad it makes you think wtf did i do that for. I dont see how people get addicted to that shit. Crack makes me wish I wouldve done meth instead so I could at least have enjoyed myself before I felt like shit and wasted my money.

well i'd do neither...I'm not saying crack is worth than meth but to people who don't do drugs it seems to be. same with Acid. Not LSD. People don't know what the fuck Acid is, so they assume it's fucking battery acid that melts your brain
 
IMO crack is overrated as a "drug of horror" and should more be put into the "waste of money and time" category. Not that horror stories are lacking, but the latter just stands out more... might as well toss $20 bills into the fire, in terms of genuine pleasure or satisfaction provided by crack. Seriously, you get a 15 second agitated rush, followed by a five minute high and one hour comedown + cravings. Probably 95% of a crack smoker's time is spent craving, 4% high and 1% smoking. Just shred the money, it's a better way to spend it.

A lot of drug users I know who indulge in pretty much everything will not touch GHB with a ten foot pole- I dont have anything against it if its used properly but having had to deal with some people recently who were off their faces on it fucking around in my lounge room, vomiting in my bathroom and trying to fuck anything remotely phallic shaped I can see why.

I've seen people go REALLY irresponsible with GHB they drink a little bit and then take the GHB and it causes them to go off the fucking edge. Crazy type stuff. way too much

I live in a country where GHB is illegal and hard to obtain, but the main prob I see with it is a high addiction risk + potentially complicated and dangerous withdrawal if I got addicted. For that reason I would be hesitant, but might do it occasionally if it were easier to get.

Yes- my lounge room is a vortex that attracts all kinda of crazy people at any time.

The thing about G is people get too cocky on it and do not listen when told to not have any one woman in particular blew out after taking five times her usual dose after a cocktail of acid, mdma and k. Ended up being rushed to hospital not breathing and her pupils fixed and dilated.

Think she would have learned from that right?



MDA: the girl who last blew out that I know of got herself up to a 70ml a day habit, went to rehab for nine months then got straight back on it. Apparently her pancreas will fail if she suddenly stops taking it. Not sure what the effects of G on the pancreas are but I believe this to be true.
 
I can see someone recovering from something like that and just continuing on with whatever it is they do. They just go and do eet
