Most unaccepted drug to use among other drug users

Around my parts almost all is accepted, Minus Dope!

If my friends were to find out that i shoot dope, i dont think things would be pretty. Out of my crew, I do the most hardcore.
 
personaly i would say meth, but in england you cannot get it so it would have to be heroin and crack.
 
It's funny because I know a lot of people in my area who eat/snort Hydrocodone, Oxycodone and Methadone like there's no tomorrow, but if you were to mention doing a bump of H they'd look at you like you were some depraved druggie. Weird.
 
I think smoking crack would be the most looked-down on in my circle, with meth and heroin tied for second.

Shooting anything is way not OK. You'd be an instant pariah.

Smoking pot is ok, but seems somewhat hippy/juvenile. (We're an older, urban crowd.) Not bad, just a bit whatever.

I don't hear much about anyone taking prescription painkillers, although I imagine they do.

But lines of coke and E are the acceptable "social" drugs, I find - the ones people will offer you at parties and such.
 
The two most unaccepted I can think of are probably crack and IV heroin use. Done the former myself, never the latter (more a needle hangup than looking down on IV drug use).

I do think it's a matter of "social drugs" being acceptable, vs. the image of someone sitting in a dirty basement by themselves doing drugs. Bunch of crap really, like most 'consensus reality' turns out to be.

IMO alcohol is one of the nastiest drugs in existence but surprise... "everyone does it," it must be OK...

Around my parts it would be heroin.

meth is a bit yes and a bit no. . . . nobody cares if you eat/snort it. . but if you were smoking it about 50% of people would be against it.

and injecting anything is a nogo in my circles.
 
i agree among stoners hippie and raver types who make up most of my friends, i don't tell most of them that i do meth and when they make fun of tweakers i usually join in. i don't know exactly how they'd react though. makes it hard to get hookups sometimes :\ i have actually never had anyone offer me crack, or seen anyone smoke it. i know people in my town have gotten arrested for it though. i think most people here think of it as something people do in the 'ghetto' not around here
another one that no one really talked about is the stigma against DXM how people think because it's OTC it sucks and is for people who can't get better drugs... you never hear anyone saying that about alcohol :p
 
I'd say crack and heroin (ecspecially IV use)

I'd also say meth, but it is so uncommon in the university setting I live in and I'm not familiar with any users of it. Which probably also adds tremendously to the negative stigma that I have associated with it.
 
i know like maybe 2 ppl who dont exile you for anything other than pot/alcohol fucking straightedges, coke is somewhat acceptable. I can never understand why coke is more acceptable than heroin, its harder on your psyche and brings you much closer to the threshold of psychosis. (i had my apt trashed as a result of it and had to break up with my roommate cuz he was wielding a knife while psychotic)
its cool to skateboard, exploit women, play in a shitty rock band, let television and worthless fantasia (ipod, internet) utterly consume your life all the while leeching of your upper bourgeios parents but let heroin enter the mix and 'my god mary whats our sweet liitle angel coming to?'
this aint my sit. but rather paradigmatic of this lame ass culture

People who 'frown on all 'hard' drug use' don't belong on BL IMO.

Not a fan of hallucinogens in general myself (in particular, certain of the more smug members of their following who use drugs for "spiritual" purposes, as opposed to us empty-headed hedonistic heathens who prefer body highs) but I mostly keep it to myself -- stirring up negativity accomplishes nothing. I know what you mean though :).
