got 15mg IR morphine

ok, so today I received my 15mg IR morphine, just 12 of them as a 2 day supply to try them out over my 5mg roxys.

I got the roxanne brand with the 54/733 imprint. does anyone have any experience with these. they don't really gel up, but it definetly thickens up and usually takes me two cottons to draw it all up. I was just wondering if there was a specific way to cook these. really, my big question is, do these actually need to be cooked or can I just use the hottest water I can get (non boiling) because it seems they don't gel up until I add flame.

if this is in the wrong part of the board I apologize I just don't see where it would fit anywhere else. please let me know if its in the wrong section and let me know where it should be for future posts.
 
morphine breaks down in heat i would pry just use hot water if i was you though i have no experiance shooting its probly the filters gelling up not the morphine i would try putting it (crushed) into warm water mix it let it sit for a hour and draw it up thru cotten/micron and see if the morphine is in the water i would think it would be

i wasnt speculating i was simply saying what i know to be true in the spirit of harm reduction i told him not to heat the gel and simply make it absorb into the solution
 
NEVER add heat to pills

99.9% of pills can be prepared with luke warm water (IF they are injectable that is)
 
thanks guys. realize I will be devastated if not adding heat gives me nothing. Ive only got 12 of these and I've gone through 4 already. I'm thinking if I get 100 of them, I could possibly make them last longer if I could get by on 8 a day.
 
if they're not suitable for a safe IV preperation you can always use them rectally, the next most efficient way (apart from IM).

but since you're using them for pain management i urge you to use them the way they're meant to be - swallowed.

i'll merge this into the morphine mega thread where i think there may be some talk of this particular brand.

I promise you 100% adding heat is doing you no good

it is far more likely to HARM your dose than it is to help it.. this is for 2 reasons.

1- Heat kills morphine.. too much can kill your dose

2- the heat is cooking out all the nasty binders and fillers and making them smaller... hence less of them being filtered out and more of them in your veins.


Morphine is very soluable.. as are most opiate pain killers. Therefor heat is not needed, it does absolutely nothing for you, and carries risks with it as well
 
thanks again for the info guys.

it worked, did a 60mg shot, no heat and got a good rush. still water and gunk in the spoon. do you think if the water left in the spoon evaporates the morphine goes with it, or could I add more water to the dried up pill in the spoon and get more out of it?

you could try adding some water and refiltering.. or just eat whats in the spoon

chances are that you got almost all of the morphine out tho-- it is water soluable wheras the fillers arent... that is mostly what is left behind.
 
I just think water left behind is morph left behind.
but I don't want to eat morphine, biggest waste there is.

I agree I wouldnt take your pills orally.. all I was saying is if there is residue left in the spoon after shooting (not enough for another shot) you could eat it just so its not going down the sink.

is it weird that I keep the spoon scrapings on foil in one pile, and filters in another on it for when everything is gone.
 
I was wondering if anyone knows the difference in doses needed between IV morphine and anal morphine. I just got a full months script of the 15's, and rigs are hard to come by here and mine is getting dull so I'm thinking I'm gonna have to ass these pills and want to know if I do the same 60mg dose I would IV or do I have to do more to reach the same effects.

just to let everyone know I generally do 60mg shots of morphine, so I'm looking for the same feeling but I'm gonna have to start hooping them or whatever its called.
 
Hello, i am new to bluelight and i have a question. I recently got some roxane 30mg Morphine IR's(white ones) and i read this to choose the ROA that would be best as of now. I decided i wanted to plug these , problem is i have no syringe. So what i was wondering is if i just plugged the pill as is would it give me an effect at all? I mean it had to dissolve at some time, wouldn't it give me a high? If there are any more methods of plugging without involving a syringe i'd like to hear them. Thanks in advance :]
 
you should be able to get an oral syringe no problems from walgreens. I think they're even free, if not they can't be more than a quarter (cause thats what I pay for rigs with needles).
 
ABG morphine prep guide

Lately the ABG ER morphine pills are the only pills I have been able to get on a regular basis. I have read a few IV prep guides here and there but always founds something a bit off about them. My guide, if followed, works without fail using only a 1cc insulin syringe, ice cubes, a spoon, saline solution (little bit of salt+water..), and cotton/filter wheel.

Disclaimer: Shooting pills is ALWAYS a dumb ass idea, no matter what. If you have yet to try it - keep it that way.

First you remove the coating off the pill(s). After they have been rendered nude put them someplace where they can dry a bit. Once dry, crush them directly in your spoon and then use something (plunger rod from an old rig works great)to further break up the large clumps. Now, place 4-8 ice cubs in a cup, add a dash of salt, and fill with water till the cubes are barely floating. I usually do this step first to save time. You need VERY cold water for this to work right. Once the water is cooled place your rig in the water and draw up a full 1cc and let the rig sit, submerged in the water, for 30-40 seconds to further remove heat. Take the now freezing cold water and introduce it to the crushed up pill debris. Stir and 'poke' the clumps for 15-30 seconds until it looks like all the water has penetrated the powder and you are left with a slightly cloudy solution sitting in the spoon. Once you are this point there is 2 things you can do: 1. place spoon in the fridge for 10min or 2. hold an icecube on the bottom of the spoon to keep the solution cold for 10 min. After the 10 min, stir again, and draw the solution through a filter/cotton and into your rig. IF you did it right, meaning it never got above 40f in the solution, you should have a perfectly clear liquid in your rig that has almost all the morphine dissolved in it. You can figure out what to do from here......

A further few disclaimers about this guide:

1. Morphine is Highly soluble in cold water.
2. Cold water stops the gelling agent
3. waiting the 10 min is key because it give the morphine time to migrate from the pill matrix to the water
4. I use saline solution because salt lowers the freezing point of water, allowing temps to drop further down.
5. I typically use 3-60mg ABG's per shot, per rig. I find adding 1.5cc of water to the spoon to be ideal as I recover 1cc and the other .5 is locked in the goop.
6. you can repeat the process on the goop and get a second, but weaker shot. A 3rd go round is pointless.

about plugging tablet, when you just want to redose with an MS IR why do you crush it ? Can't you put it directly into your arse ?

or does it hit harder when crushed ?

because I already try that and it' worked like a charm. but if it hit harder when crushed I'll buy a needless syringe.
