450 for a 2 bedroom is realy cheap, around here it would be like 1,500. but you can also get ounces of meth for like 400

Is that $1500 a month? $450 is the weekly cost for a 2 bedroom Sydney apartment - more in some areas.

^ Ah, weekly cost! I had also assumed it was monthly, and was going to comment on how cheap it is!
In Tokyo, prices aren't too much cheaper than that for rent. Where I live, in the countryside, most houses rent for about $1000 (US) per month or less.
And meth costs about $200/gram, I have heard (though I have never bought it myself).

Australian rent prices are generally done on a per week basis.

Rent is generally quoted at cost per week, but we pay fortnightly. I've heard of people having monthly rents, but it's not common.
