I'm nowhere near detroit but still approve. Pipes and well...cut pills in general are. If people want other drugs to accompany their roll they should add those on their own. They shouldn't have to ingest drugs they don't know about.

At least the prices weren't too inflated. I wouldn't mind a PCP/MDMA pill for a couple bucks.

edit: I didn't see anything about pipes in the article. but who knows with "ecstasy" these days.

All those pills that they found ( you can see in the video) are in my area, and they are all pipes, and I don't live in detroit! I live in CT!


I just hope this put a little dent in the pipe pressers operation
 
Israel seizes Colombian cocaine shipment worth millions

Court lifts gag order on police raid that snagged 250 kg of cocaine hidden in a coffee container; shipment worth more than NIS 60 million.

Law enforcement services and customs officials in Ashdod recently seized a 250kg shipment of cocaine that reached Israel by boat from Colombia. The drugs were found a month ago, but the gag order on publication of the story was only lifted Sunday, when two suspects were arrested for their suspected involvement in the incident.

The two suspects will appear at a remand hearing at a Rishon Letzion court.

The operation was carried out by the drug unit at Ashdod port customs and the National Unit for the Investigation of Serious and International Crimes.

The drug shipment arrived in a coffee container on April 20. The coffee container was filled with hundreds of bags of coffee, and on top of which lay nine sacks, each found to hold a one-kilogram plastic bags of high-quality cocaine.

The value of the drugs that were found in the container was estimated at over NIS 60 million.

UK - Cannabis and heroin 'worth £5m' seized in raids

Drugs with an estimated street value of £5m have been seized by police in raids in Wirral and Greater Manchester.

Police raided seven properties in New Brighton, Wallasey, Bidston and Heswall, and searched another address in Greater Manchester on Friday.

They uncovered more than 650kg of cannabis, 16.5kg of heroin, a firearm and a substantial amount of ammunition.

according to the article the pills tested positive for mdma. So there was at least some Ms in there.

Oh and the "estimated street value of 1.4million" As I remember it you wont be paying that much even if your at the bottom of the chain and you'll be paying exponentially less if your grabbing in bulk. Honestly what the fuck would make the cops think 70,000 pills equal $1.4 million. 20 a pill? Really?
 
Police pose as UPS driver to nab man receiving clocks filled with pot

CICERO – Police on Monday posed as UPS employees to nab a west suburban man accepting packages of wooden clocks jammed with $600,000 worth of compressed cannabis.

Roberto Carlin, 38, of the 1800 block of South 61st Avenue in Cicero, was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to deliver after the sting, Town of Cicero spokesman Ray Hanania said.

The investigation began after federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials notified Cicero police that they intercepted a shipment of cannabis in Kentucky that was earmarked for delivery to a Cicero address, Hanania said.

When police finally opened the packages at the police station, expecting to find marijuana, they instead found 36 wooden clocks.

K-9 units again made positive hits on all of the clocks, and officers were advised by the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office to disassemble the clocks. Inside, officers found the cannabis was packed into the structure of the clocks, with each containing 1,500 to 1,800 grams of compressed cannabis, Hanania said.

Unless they counted the packaging around the weed.

A guy I knew was caught with a 2-liter glass jar with LSD in it (probably at least a dozen sheets).
The cops weighted THE JAR along with the paper in order to charge him with something bigger.
(Also found his 2 oz. of weed, and weighed it - again - with the glass jar.)

Fuckers.
 
I bet all of the clocks were they all set to 4:20. I agree, slim. A lot of cops are more dirty than the people they arrest.

Would weighing the jars hold up in court? It seems like a good lawyer could stop the jars from counting as well.

Unfortunately, precedent was already set allowing transportation medium to be included in weight when prosecuting for LSD.

Mistake #1 = using private courier to traffic. If I understand correctly, they aren't held to the 4th amendment like USPS/federal agencies are.
