You guys get a social forum which will basically be sensible not-strictly rave related discussion. Any suggestions for a name?

Drug Discussion
All current meetup posts will be moved into the new forum and the rest of the posts here will stay the same, just get a new name. Also, bluelight is undergoing some design changes so if any of you would like to add your voice to the issue, go to "announcements and comments to webmaster" You will find the thread.
Soooo, we are going to need another mod believe it or not. You know the drill, nominate yourself and people will either be enthusiastic or not. Oh, btw, this will be for the social forum and no pillgrim, you're not eligible

If the meetups forum gets busy, we will need a mod for that, but we can take that as it comes.

For some reason I can't get "The hang out" outta my head as far as a name goes... and that'd be a really dodgy name and I don't like it, but it won't get outta my head! ARGH!!
There's already a "Chill out room" forum, but that would be a good name cos that's the kinda talk that'd be going on... the dodgy stuff you come up with while sprawled in the chill out room...
Anyway, I nominate Decimal Dan for moderator, he was up for the meetups mod b4 and I'd still consider him best person for the job...
I also think MorpheusDaq would do a good job.

To be honest what I've just typed wasn't very sensible considering I'm going to a BBQ next weekend where there'll be at least 100 BLer's, maybe an Alias is in order!

Not sure I agree kids with the splitting up/creating of another forum. After all, thats why threads have topics ... if you don't want to read a certain thread... ummm.. don't click on it. I'm sure we all have a basic understanding of what a 'topic' is.

And I reckon splitting it up will cause people to miss out on information. I know slack bastards like me wouldn't check two forums every day. It's hard enough checking one

I couldnt be assed checking THREE different forums...
and besides, Bluelight HAS been a little on the dull side lately, can't imagine how adding another forum could enhance it, as it is the page hardly gets filled in a day with new posts...

I reackon its a good idea. It makes sense to have a social forum where you put all the shit talking that doesn't fall under either the Meet-ups or Drug Discussion forum's. Though i do see other peoples point's. Whatever the outcome, I'm happy

well fancy that. I thought you guys all wanted a new forum just for social. Well at least thats what we were led to believe.
It will probably happen because of Administration blahdiblah. Fox is really eager to make bluelight universal but I will have a chat to him and ask him about it. But with no new forum, there probably isnt any need for a mod just yet.
