Does anyone have mood issues while on oxy or similar opioids?
if I’m alone, I’m great but often i notice I can get irritated really quickly

Yeah this was something I experienced frequently. It's a sad irony of opioids that they can make you feel great yet also induce "opioid-induced rage" when confronted with even a trivial inconvenience, especially in a social context...

One situation that always brought this out in me was standing in line at a store. When I wasn't high it wouldn't bother me at all, I would just be patient and considerate to other shoppers, but when I was high the only thought that would bubble up in my head would be "GOD I WISH THESE THREE PEOPLE IN FRONT OF ME WOULD JUST DROP DEAD, GWAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!"

I think it might be the result of kappa receptor agonism. It seems stronger with drugs like oxycodone, which causes more irritability than say morphine, which is a weaker kappa agonist. Of course, morphine can cause irritability, but its not as bad as oxycodone.

Yeah I get this quite a bit, and I'm rarely irritable normally. Its flashes of intense irritation that also float away like they weren't there.
