"Molly" is gaining popularity in the hip hop/EDM communities

Kids DO mimick what they see and hear in music. Its silly to blame the music, but its just as silly to say that kids dont follow the shit out of whats popular, including drug use. Molly definitely is everywhere these days, I cant even remember the last time I saw a pressed pill. Its pop culture... they're rapping about molly now, its not surprising that molly is everywhere.

Rapping about ecstasy wasnt popular back in the day. Theres obviously references, but it wasnt typical.

Cage has the best drug reference songs of any rapper, btw :D

It's definitely made a resurgence in hip hop and electronic music, it's always been there, but it has all of a sudden become more prevalent.

I think this is due to the overall fall of the pressed pill, and a plentiful amount of "molly" which seems to be surprisingly pure all over right now (I blame a street made of a certain fabric for that)

And well, I do think it's cause of music right now. It's all so bassy, so loud, and good sound equipment and speakers are getting cheaper and cheaper.

First things first though, how is molly at all a "gangster" drug though, I get rappers talking about cocaine or weed, but... Molly? Really?

its not at all close to "pure all over"
go to shows and tell me at least half of the shit there has absolutely no MDMA in it

Moreso than usual. My entire state was dry for a good 3 years, of ANYTHING good. Just a bunch of pressed pipes. All of a sudden in the last 6 months, dutch crystal mdma everywhere. I have buddies from 2 other states reporting the same thing.

Of course I'm not saying EVERYWHERE, I'm saying in general it is the death of the pressed pill and people getting their hands on awesome to half-decent to shit molly.
