Mobile phones: What do you have? What do you waaaant?

Well no news yet, Im hoping next month when the iPhone is released (June 11)
SE will have to to something to compete with Apple

Vodafone has a website for dealers to register their customers interest for the iPhone. It use to be public but now its strictly dealer use so I cant give it out, but if anyone wants me to add them to the iPhone mailing list through my store im more then happy to. The form I have instore asks for a fair bit of personal info and I dont want anyone from BL giving me any of this for my own sake, but you are more then welcome to give me a email address and if you want to preorder. Ill send the same email to you as I send to the others. Its a iPhone thing, you wont receive anything other then iPhone info.

The Xperia is now out and while it's a bit tubby, I still want to sex with it. A lot. Like, I'm a bit hot right now just thinking about it.

My current contract isn't up for another year though so hopefully by that time they'll have slimmed it down and it won't be tied to Telstra anymore.

I've got a Nokia E71 and I love it. It's perfect for me, and for once, i'm across more than 10% of the functionality of the phone - i use about 70% of it, which is awesome, for me anyway.

:)

i got 2 phones, coz well one is a work phone

my personal phone is a Sony Ericsson C902, only really got it... for the awesome camera in it... its actually pretty good.

work phone is a HTC touch diamond, has its moments, its very laggy at times, but i have just put tomtom onto it, and a few other games... and now its all good =D

I have a Nokia 6600 Slide on a $29 cap with vodafone and a iphone on some kind of cap ($60?) with optus

both are over 24 months, what is with that hey
i dont even know if i own this phone

the nokia is shit, my friend had a 6210 navigator and i thought it would be cool like that, but its flimsy and i cant type good on it
i should have investigated it better but they only had a toy one in the shop

My last 3 phones have been sony ericssons ive gotten to love the interface
however im tiring of charge issues, messaging issues, poor reception & not hearing people clearly enough

I'm almost sold on an iphone but id rather wait until we get the smaller version thats already been released in asian countries.

I just dont enough about them to get one though, I'm sure i would actually use all the apps which seems to be what im sold in

I may revert back to the simplest phone again without a camera, music and internet capabilities and it will probably operate better

I had my new phone delivered last week - the Nokia 5800. So far so good. Took me an age to figure out how to connect it to the bluetooth in my car (couldn't seem to put in the passcode), but now that that's done I'm in love with it. Although the software seems to have a few issues and I have to reboot it sometimes to fix them (i.e. the message alert stopped coming up, so I had a bunch of SMSes sitting in my inbox but no notification for any of them - reboot fixed).

I was tossing up between it and an iPhone, but since I get frustrated with the interface on my iPod Touch I figured the iPhone probably wasn't a good match for me.

^^the iphone is pretty cool.
i am not familiar with the touch so im not sure exactly what the resemblances are,
however the endless free applications available for them keep me interested most of the time.

Out headoffice advised us today that the 16GB iPhone is now end of life and no longer on replenishment.
In other words....

NEW IPHONES SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Works giving me a blackberry storm, i think it's going to take me a year to figure out how to use it!

Make sure you upgrade the software as soon as you get it, some places still have shelf stock that has the original buggy shit software. You'll be throwing it against the wall before you even get a chance to learn how to use it. Actually even with the upgrade you may still find yourself doing this.

:( Maybe i should decline and stick with my old school nokia.. Always found them reliable
