This is the stuff you claim to believe in but my suggestions are met with contempt and utter disbelief that they could ever occur, please explain why that is, I am quite familiar with the Bible so, as you know ther are many more quotes at least as extreme as this if not more so.

On the otherhand the fact that it has never happened in the last 50,000 years of mankind is a pretty big amount of proof on my side. It's like me saying my political philosophy is that we all go to bed tonight, and wake up with porches, unlimited food and baywatch models in the garden... If this had ever happened before I might have a poiint, but it hasn't, so it just seems ludicrous. And for me to then use this as an excuse to totally ignore real and tangible things in the real world would make it all the more of a strange idea! You seem to think that the necessity of this event to our survival precludes it happening... And you haven't even vaguely suggested how!! And the cherry on top is that you laugh at me and reject my position, when mine is based on a philosophy, which although not perfect, at least has a track record of existing and doing some good in the world.

My reason for believing in the end of days is Jesus who performed miracles... I do not know what it will look like, and neither do you. It is widely accepted that we are supposed to behave in a biblical fashion until said event, whereupon everyone who inhabits the space around us does too.

Speaking of school it was actually the topic of my very first class of university thank you very much. We studied the rise of the black shirts, the biggest fascist organisation in the UK. Their plan was the nationalisation of almost everything, and the control of the businesses owned by others. You will notice that in Nazi Germany, even businesses owned by private investors were forcibly told to make whatever the government said. The thing that is confusing you is that alongside these socialist things there was also nationalism and killing minorities... This just makes it a different branch of the same tree. The fact is fascisim shares more with socialism than any other ideology...especially when you compare implementation. You just find it offensive because you like socialism.

Why on earth is it upto me to prove or disprove your magical event will happen because I am Christian? Christianity has not killed millions of people, please quantify that. While you're at it please justify why, when you want more philanthropy, you are attacking the one group of people rsponsible for almost all the philanthropy that is done or has ever been done?

There is no agreement among scholars about revelations meaning to us. It is supposed to be that way. It is supposed to come when we don't expect it, in a way we don't expect. So pitching your argument to me on that basis is never gone to work.

Like I said I don't rule out that what you're saying could happen, but you have given me no reason to think that if such a thing were to happen it would happen how you want it to, or that it will happen in the next 5,000 years. It is equally likely that everyone will wake up tomorrow with pure evil in their minds, wanting to rape and murder everyone they see. How likely do you think this is to happen and why?
