Miami (& LeBron!) vs. Cleveland - THURSDAY 12/02/2010 @ 8:00 p.m. EST

"an easier road to achieve your goals"

then everyone is a sell-out. you would be an idiot not to take the easiest road possible to achieve your goals. you can argue humans are programmed to do that because we take the path of least resistance.

sure, that's easy to say, but not so fast my friend. I will take my band for an example. I used to play in mad punk outfits, but now my band is more of a commercial-ready indie rock band. I got a lot of slack for abandoning my punk rock roots. sure, their might be nothing wrong with taking the easy road, in your opinion. but in the opinion of the mass media and hive mind of the people - there is something inherently wrong, even un-American about selling out. Horatio Algers would be pissed

LBJ is a nice enough guy. I've said hi to him before. but to some people inside the Cleveland Cavalier administration, he was always a little bit of a diva. keep in mind, no CLE fans in their right mind complained about this when he was winning on the Cavs, something the Cavs haven't done for a long time

LBJ is kind of a douche, but he was my douche. now, he is just a douche

that's kind of my point -- it's all opinion, and when you have "it's all opinion" as the backdrop of any issue everyone just looks like a bunch of douches trying to espouse some morality to the tale.

humans will be humans.

wouldn't you say that when a very high percent of the majority forms the same opinion, it is almost more than an opinion, then? I don't mean to get philosophical in a LBJ thread, but still, something to think about
