hahahahahah!

sorry.

noooooooooooooo shit. it's not that fuckin' nice. only reason it's that expensive is because of location. hell, the rencen was cheaper than that (at one point).

are you going this year?

Gosh, you guys make Detroit sound bad, I always thought it was an oasis of safe neighborhoods, and beautiful scenery. Where people will do anything to help you out. An actual "Pleasantville"

I must have been confused..

lol

fixed for more precise interpretation of events.

ponch hotel is a rip off to begin with. Each year ive stayed there something bad happens from hotel cards not being active to the elevators breaking down to pipes leaking in the stair wells... Holiday inn express is ideal and to those who dont go to sleep until sunrise, the works is only a mile or two from it.

there was a hotel on the other side of downtown, not walking distance to the festival, but like a 5 minute drive. i can't remember the name of it (they were under construction at the time)... but they were nice, rooms were clean, their food recs were always spot on... and they were like $75-90 a night. i wish i could remember what the name was because that's where i'd like to stay again.

if it's the st. regis, they've jumped on the price-hike bandwagon.

I wonder why thats not considered price gouging..it happens all over the place with hotels. But if it happens with like gas or something its illeagle..weird.
