Methylone vs. Mephedrone Megathread

Personally I only done mephedrone a few times before it became available as a pure substance and that was before i have found a source for methylone.

Once I found a source for it I never touched mephedrone again. In my eyes it was a much better substance overall.
 
Just for the record, I use the bk in exactly the same way as I would mdma, taking small, regular doses thru the night & it works in almost exactly the same way. I find bk-mdma a very, very close substitute & I'm stunned that it was legal ALL that time & I didnt buy half a fucking TON of the stuff!

The only difference imo is the anxiety issue, which I never fail to bring up. The substituted "beta-ketone" thingymajig definitely increases the likelyhood of anxious feelings & is best premedicated against (once again, strictly imo!) with a small dose of benzo (2.5mg valium or half a Xanax) depending on how long you intend to go for!

I like drone alright too... ish... but find drone is for short sessions at home, & the bk is for when I want a proper night out. I'm kinda substituting drone for coke or speed, & substituting the bk for real mdma... Long sessions on meph make for much worse anxiety than with the bk, imo!

What if you have plenty of opiates to get you past the speedy phase?

How would methylone work out for me, safety as well as enjoyment wise, with my pain regimen?

Less is definitely more with methylone. Lower doses produce euphoria while large doses feel like you've taken about half a gram of ephedrine. I'd say 225mg is about the cut-off point. Strangely you dont feel any less fucked on 180mg as you would on 250mg, the euphoria is just a lot more pronounced and not swamped by uncomfortable stimulation. Redosing works better after lower doses too and if you time and dose everything perfectly you can squeeze aaaaaalmost as much euphoria out of it as MDMA. Don't expect the floaty feeling of utter bliss you get on mandy though, methylone is definitely more of a 'fun' drug.

I'd say the high of methylone is better but mephedrone has less side effects and comedown for me, and works for longer with redosing. It's a tough call :\

So Methylone has MORE side effects? I was under the impression that the side effect profile of Mephedrone was kind of harsh.

What if I want something really mild? Think Flephedrone would be better than these two, side effect and safety wise?
 
What if I want a really mild pick me up, like coffee with a serious kick, added euphoria to my pain regimen, with some increased energy, but where I can still function and do my daily routine?

I could also go for a little bit of 'dirty euphoria' that some drugs produce.
 
Only tried mephedrone so far, but can say it has very high and low points.

Positive: Increased energy, talkativeness, euphoria and music appreciation.
Negative: Urge to re-dose constantly, chest pains, stomach upset/diarrhea, skin blotchiness, nose bleeds after snorting tiny amounts.

Just ordered a gram of methylone from the same supplier today. From what I've read, methylone is more MDMA-like and has more of a sedating/calming effect than meph. Will have to see how it measures up.
 
What do you think 20-40mg M1 would do in combo with some opiates? Whats threshold where you feel more stimulated than a cup of light roast?

What do you mean by stronger? Less is needed by weight, or the experience is more intense?

Really? I've heard fleph being compared to a milder meph, whereas I found the peak of methylone to be very similar to MDMA. Shame about the rest of the experience.
 
Crap. ;) Just a dirty feeling energy that kept me awake for hours and hours after. That's been my experience every time I've had it. Cathinones are shit.
 
ok maybe you guys can help me out here. i have taken a substance deemed "sexual stimulant" from a local head shop on a couple of occasions. im pretty sure its a meph cocktail and here is why: it has half a gram in each capsule. the first time i took half a capsule the second time i took the whole capsule. effects were: eye wiggles, especially the second time, i had them bad lol. everyone was jawing, had a tense body, sorta like meth or ice, that slow, tight tense of the muscles. duration on half the capsule was about 3 hours. whole capsule lasted about 5-6 hours, but we also had weed to go with it. and once you start to realize you're coming down, you come down fast. its not like mdma where you can "boost" back up. we tried smoking weed on the come down and it did little. had some euphoria and empathy, but nothing like mdma. oh and makes everyone real horny. everything points to a meph cocktail of some sorts, as there are no ingredient listing on the package. which, from what i hear, meph has to be sold as plant food or bath salts so they cant legally put that its in the pill. opinions?

Edit: the only thing baffling me is the visual. i got the eye wiggles really bad like when on a high dose of mdma. everyone is saying meph doesnt give visuals. i have never had MDPV does that sound like maybe a mixture of the 2?

^^I get eye wiggles way more on mega meph hits than mega peev hits...Aside from that fuck knows mate, could be anythin.

Ordered a g of bk-mdma just cuz its been ages, quite liked it in the past.
 
Couple of questions

1, Whats methylone like for sex and loved up stuff. I like the touchy feely buzz I get from MDMA and sex is great although really hard to perform sometimes. Was wondering what M1 is like

2, Are benzos good to counteract the stimmy, wired comedown many people say that they get from M1 ?

I've never tried methylone.

Meph is SUPERB for sex. As long as you don't want to ejaculate, but it's filthy filthy sex drug.

Benzos should help, help with meph, or wizz, so I guess so.

Sounds like there could well be some MDPV in your stuff,

plus god knows what else...

when you say eye wiggles, you mean involuntary eye movement?

i get/had this of Mephedrone in the past.

I would not describe eye wiggles/nystagmus as a 'Visual' effect though,


Just a physical one... that affects your eyes.
 
I really prefer mephedrone. I use it only orally and (touch wood) never had any problems with it, nor any urge to redose. The redosing works and come down is easy plus one feels normal following days. With m1 I get overstimulated and rather disphoric after redosing and the following days I feel rather depressed. What a shame that meph is banned almost everywhere :(
