Methoxetamine Thread v2

So MXE has piqued my interest enough for me to try and seek some out before the ban comes in...

So once ive found somehwere that sells it my next issue is that some people have being saying that what they've recieved hasn't been MXE at all or very poor quality. I think Kate most recently.

With me being totally RC naive let alone MXE that leaves me not really knowing what im getting which is a little concerning. Are there any tell tale signs to look out for or is it just regular old white powder indistinguishable from any other white powder?

Is it a powder or crystalline/shardy?

White/off white/tan?

Is there a certain smell?

Taste?

Is there a reagent that would verify what it is? Thanks in advance?
 
From memory the eztest for ketamine (mandelin) can be used for MXE. It should turn immediately green.

My new batch was a bit better, though I have to say commercialisation doesn’t deliver the quality or intensity of times past product, but hey, ho that's how thing go these days.

Lovely night, but think we've been doing this stuff so long it and us have evolved out of its magic - still, very enjoyable. As well as being fun, it can be a very useful and insightful drug Scotch, glad you've enjoyed it. It's a substance you can work with for the good. It has flexibility and meaning when you master it ;)

Mxe can be wonderfully controllable and responsive to set / setting :)
 
i hadnt touched the stuff for nearly 2 years. got a gram the other week, which was fun at the beginning, but eventually ended up doing a humungous dose roughly 200-250mg (tolerance was up a little bit due to repeated use, but admittedly this was retarded), this chemical took my brain and shoved it up my arse. totally scared the fuck out of me, thought i was dead, and that this abstract reality, which had no resemblance of anything i'd ever seen or felt, was the afterlife. I had forgotten all of my memories, had no recollection of anything, no idea who i was or what was going on, felt like another dimension or something.

this lasted for what seemed like an eternity. scared the living shit out of me, when i finally started to come to i wanted nothing more than the disassociation to end. I have had m-holes, k-holes, exremely intense acid/2c-e/mushroom/cannabinoid trips u name it, but this was so utterly terrifying i dont think i wanna go near the stuff again. i have had a lot of good mxe experiences, but this just pushed my limits waaaaay too far. i never wanna go anywhere near that state again. it simply cannot be good for any conscious being to enter such a reality. Do not do what I did! Dose carefully or this chem will ravage your mental clarity!
 
The EU ban will take the form of each country using their own laws to ban the substance. IIRC this must be done within one year of the EU decision.
 
Sounds nasty fluffybudzz, i've done similar before, a few years ago when i was more reckless, was horrendous. was holding on for dear life, a messed up experience
 
The last two batches of MXE we've had have not been up to the usual high standard. Batch number 1 was so bad we managed to get a free replacement from the vendor, who'd apparently had some complaints about it. They said something about the bottom of the batch having some salt float to the bottom which reduced it in potency, but were adamant that it was definitely MXE and should have been fine, just weaker.

Effects of #1 were nothing like usual MXE. I experienced zero stimulation, zero empathy (quite the reverse). I felt cold and detached to everything, very blurry vision, confused, unfocused and stupid feelings, lack of co-ordination. I just wanted to go and lie down to let it pass. We eventually binned what was left of it.

Batch #2 has been much better, but still not what we'd normally expect. It has a slightly warmer feeling than #1, and is slightly more enjoyable, but with the same feelings of cold detachment and opiate-like monginess. Had a bath at one point and had a pleasant minor M-hole which made me feel like a canal boat, deep in a network of old canals during the height of the industrial revolution in Glasgow, floating about the canals and offloading cargo. :D

Both batches were yellowish and very fine powder. The usual stuff we get is bright white with a salty texture, that usually needs ground down with a credit card. My usual effects from MXE are a high level of stimulation (to begin with at least), lots of empathy, superhuman levels of focus and attention to detail (e.g. can spend an hour cleaning a window to perfection), very deep recollections of events and insights from childhood, finding fascination with old records and exploring things with forensic detail, and absolutely orgasmic enjoyment of music. I haven't experienced any of these positive effects from these last two batches. Massively disappointed. :(

Anyone else noticing this recently? I'm beginning to wonder if it's possible to lose the magic with MXE, or if indeed the supply is the problem. It's affected us both in the same way, so I suspect the latter.
 
felix, it is a synth issue, I am sure of it, this is why I stopped buying mxe a year ago. Have far more enjoyment out of methoxphenidine which is legal domestic so go figure.

What you describe sounds exactly like what I got the last few times and exactly why I stopped buying it.

This has been our favourite substance ever since it first came out, and rather consider ourselves to be connoisseurs of it, so it's good to know we're not the only ones to have issues. The vendor stands by their testing of the product and is adamant that it was MXE, but I suspect they're just chemists and/or retailers and not experienced users of the product.

Absolutely gutted about this. I haven't cleaned any windows for ages now, what am I gonna do? Get some crystal meth? :D

let me guess, they used a melting point test? Dark ages analytical chemistry. Would think those bods could afford to hire a spritely analyical chemist to check their product with real equipment i.e GCMS, TLC and HPLC.
 
That's exactly it. I think it might be worth mentioning that to them. Thus far they have provided exceptional customer service, with good communication via a tech-support style ticketing system and real people giving what seems be truthful responses, so here's hoping they'll be open to this type of feedback.

I have a nice mild afterglow today, and have had a couple of small lines which feel great, so this batch isn't all bad. But still not quite right.
 
It's not even much effort to recrystallise and process and clean a batch of the stuff, its just process chemistry, if I was importing the stuff from china I would be relying on more than a stone age melting point test. There is no reason why that chemical shouldn't be top notch quality. Paying 20 euros or whatever for a gram of sketchy saltly powder that doesnt do the trick is not right.

Hell, that describes my usual mood for the most part, dont see the point in forking out to exasperate it :\

Oh well, ill chalk it up with the pre-ban meph that i failed to try to..
